Live to Please God (Yahuah)

4 Furthermore then we beseech (urge) you, brethren (fellow believers), and exhort you by the Lord Jesus (Aḏon Yahusha; {fWHY [in Paleo Hebrew]), that as ye (you) have received of us how ye (you) ought to walk and to please God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), so ye (you) would abound more and more.

For ye (you) know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus (Aḏon Yahusha; {fWHY [in Paleo Hebrew]).

For this is the will of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), even your sanctification, that ye (you) should abstain from fornication:

(NOTE: fornication (noun) = voluntary sexual intercourse between unmarried persons or outside of marriage)

That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

Not in the lust of concupiscence (strong sexual desire), even as the Gentiles which know not God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah):

(NOTE: Gentiles (noun / adjective) = anyone who is not of Jewish descent or who does not believe in God [Yahuah]; heathen, pagan)

That no man go beyond and defraud (cheat / swindle / deceive / scam) his brother in any matter: because that the Lord (Aḏon) is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

For God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

He therefore that despiseth (hates), despiseth (hates) not man, but God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), who hath (has) also given unto us his holy Spirit (His Ruach Ha’Qodesh).

But as touching brotherly love ye (you) need not that I write unto you: for ye (you) yourselves are taught of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) to love one another.

10 And indeed ye (you) do it toward all the brethren (fellow believers) which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech (urge) you, brethren (fellow believers), that ye (you) increase more and more;

11 And that ye (you) study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12 That ye (you) may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye (you) may have lack of nothing.

The Hope of the Resurrection

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren (fellow believers), concerning them which (who) are asleep, that ye (you) sorrow not, even as others which (who) have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus (Yahusha; {fWHY [in Paleo Hebrew]) died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus (Yahusha; {fWHY [in Paleo Hebrew]) will God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) bring with him (Him).

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord (Aḏon), that we which (who) are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord (Aḏon) shall not prevent them which (who) are asleep.

16 For the Lord (Aḏon) himself (Himself) shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump (trumpet) of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): and the dead in Christ (Mashiach) shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord (Aḏon) in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (Aḏon).

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Prediction of Babylon’s Fall

47 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon (Babel), sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt (you shall) no more be called tender and delicate.

Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy (your) locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

Thy (Your) nakedness shall be uncovered, yea (yes), thy (your) shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee (you) as a man.

As for our redeemer, the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel (Yisrael).

Sit thou (you) silent, and get thee (you) into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt (you shall) no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine (My) inheritance, and given them into thine (your) hand: thou didst shew (you did show) them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou (have you) very heavily laid thy (your) yoke.

And thou saidst (you said), I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst (you did) not lay these things to thy (your) heart, neither didst (did) remember the latter end of it.

Therefore hear now this, thou (you) that art (are) given to pleasures, that dwellest (who live) carelessly, that sayest (say) in thine (your) heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

But these two things shall come to thee (you) in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee (you) in their perfection for the multitude of thy (your) sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine (your) enchantments.

10 For thou hast (you have) trusted in thy (your) wickedness: thou hast (you have) said, None seeth (sees) me. Thy (Your) wisdom and thy (your) knowledge, it hath perverted thee (it has led you astray); and thou hast (you have) said in thine (your) heart, I am, and none else beside me.

11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee (you); thou shalt not (you shall not) know from whence it riseth (rises): and mischief shall fall upon thee (you); thou shalt not (you shall not) be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not (you shall not) know.

12 Stand now with thine (your) enchantments, and with the multitude of thy (your) sorceries, wherein thou hast (you have) laboured from thy (your) youth; if so be thou shalt (you shall) be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail (may you proven to be more powerful).

13 Thou art (You are) wearied in the multitude of thy (your) counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators (fortune tellers), stand up, and save thee (you) from these things that shall come upon thee (you).

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

15 Thus shall they be unto thee (you) with whom thou hast (you have) laboured, even thy (your) merchants, from thy (your) youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee (you).

God’s (Yahuah’s) Stubborn People

48 Hear ye (you) this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel (Yisrael), and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and make mention of the God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of Israel (Yisrael), but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of Israel (Yisrael); The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of hosts is his (His) name.

I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed (showed) them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

Because I knew that thou art obstinate (you are firm), and thy (your) neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass (and your forehead bronze);

I have even from the beginning declared it to thee (you); before it came to pass I shewed (showed) it thee (you): lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them (so that you could not say, ‘My idol has done them), and my graven image, and my molten image, hath (has) commanded them.

Thou hast (You have) heard, see all this; and will not ye (you) declare it? I have shewed thee (you) new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not (you did not) know them.

They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not (and before today you have not heard of them); lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them (so that you will not say, ‘Oh yes! I knew them).

Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not (Yes, you have not heard, you have not known); yea (yes), from that time that thine (your) ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest (you [Isarel] would) deal very treacherously (deceitfully), and wast (was) called a transgressor from the womb.

For my name’s sake will I defer mine (my) anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee (you), that I cut thee (you) not off.

10 Behold, I have refined thee (you), but not with silver; I have chosen thee (you) in the furnace of affliction.

11 For mine (My) own sake, even for mine (My) own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Freedom from Babylon

12 Hearken unto (Pay attention to) me, O Jacob (Ya’aqob) and Israel (Yisrael), my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.

13 Mine (My) hand also hath (has) laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath (has) spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

14 All ye (you), assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath (has) declared these things? The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahhath (has) loved him: he will do his (His) pleasure on Babylon (Babel), and his (His) arm shall be on the Chaldeans.

15 I, even I, have spoken; yea (yes), I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.

16 Come ye (you) near unto me, hear ye (you) this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord (Adonai) God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and his Spirit (His Ruach), hath (has) sent me.

17 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), thy (your) Redeemer, the Holy One (Qadosh One) of Israel (Yisrael); I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahthy (your) God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) which teacheth thee (who teaches you) to profit, which leadeth thee (who leads you) by the way that thou shouldest (you should) go.

18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my (you had paid attention to My) commandments! then had thy (your) peace been as a river, and thy (your) righteousness as the waves of the sea:

19 Thy (Your) seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy (your) bowels like the gravel thereof; his (His) name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me (Me).

20 Go ye (you) forth of Babylon, flee ye (you) from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye (you), tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye (you), The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahhath (has) redeemed his (His) servant Jacob (Ya’aqob).

21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.

22 There is no peace, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), unto the wicked.

The LORD’S (YAHUAH’S) Servant Commissioned

49 Listen, O isles (islands), unto me; and hearken (pay attention), ye (you) people, from far; The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) called me from the womb; from the bowels (body) of my mother hath he (He has) made mention of my (My) name.

And he hath (He has) made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his (His) hand hath he (He has) hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his (His) quiver hath he (He has) hid me;

And said unto me, Thou art (You are) my servant, O Israel (Yisrael), in whom I will be glorified.

Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought (nothing), and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and my work with my God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

And now, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob (Ya’aqob) again to him, Though Israel (Yisrael) be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and my God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall be my strength.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest (you should) be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob (Ya’aqob), and to restore the preserved of Israel (Yisrael): I will also give thee (you) for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest (you may) be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), the Redeemer of Israel (Yisrael), and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth (despises, hates), to him whom the nation abhorreth (abhors), to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) that is faithful, and the Holy (Qadosh) One of Israel (Yisrael), and he shall choose thee (you).

Promises if Israel’s Restoration

Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), In an acceptable time have I heard thee (you), and in a day of salvation have I helped thee (you): and I will preserve thee (you), and give thee (you) for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

That thou mayest (you may) say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew (Show) yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite (strike) them: for he (He) that hath (has) mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he (He) guide them.

11 And I will make all my (My) mountains a way, and my (My) highways shall be exalted.

12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo (look), these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahhath (has) comforted his (His) people, and will have mercy upon his (His) afflicted.

14 But Zion (Tsiyon) said, The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahhath (has) forsaken me, and my Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) forgotten me.

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea (Yes), they may forget, yet will I not forget thee (you).

16 Behold, I have graven thee (you) upon the palms of my hands; thy (your) walls are continually before me.

17 Thy (Your) children shall make haste (hurry); thy (your) destroyers and they that made thee (you) waste shall go forth of thee (you).

18 Lift up thine (your) eyes round about, and behold (see): all these gather themselves together, and come to thee (you). As I live, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), thou shalt (you shall) surely clothe thee (you) with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee (you), as a bride doeth (does).

19 For thy (your) waste and thy (your) desolate places, and the land of thy (your) destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee (you) up shall be far away.

20 The children which thou shalt (you shall) have, after thou hast (you have) lost the other, shall say again in thine (your) ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell (live).

21 Then shalt thou (shall you) say in thine (your) heart, Who hath (has) begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath (has) brought up these? Behold (See), I was left alone; these, where had they been?

22 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai) God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), Behold (See), I will lift up mine (My) hand to the Gentiles, and set up my (My) standard to the people: and they shall bring thy (your) sons in their arms, and thy (your) daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

23 And kings shall be thy (your) nursing fathers, and their queens thy (your) nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee (you) with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy (your) feet; and thou shalt (you shall) know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me (Me).

24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

25 But thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend (fight) with him that contendeth (who contends, fights) with thee (you), and I will save thy (your) children.

26 And I will feed them that oppress thee (you) with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) am thy (your) Saviour and thy (your) Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob (Ya’aqob).

THE PROPER HEBREW NAME OF THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR

Isaiah 52:6 King James Version (KJV)
“Therefore MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth (He who does) speak: behold, it is I.”

The word ‘God’ is a noun. It is not God’s actual name.

EXAMPLE: “He is my father. He drives me to school every morning. His name is Johnny Lim.”

EXPLAINED: The word ‘father’ here is a noun. It is not the actual / proper name. ‘Johnny Lim’ is the actual / proper name.

QUESTION: What is God’s actual / proper name?

ANSWER: God’s actual name is as follows:-

YHWH meaning in the Bible

(NOTE: YHWH (proper noun) = 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 the proper name of the God of Israel (Yisrael). יְהוָֹה (H3068)  in tetragrammaton: יְהוָֹה (H3068) יְ (yod) ה (he) וָֹ (uau / waw) ה (he)

In Hebrew text:-
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH in Ancient Hebrew alphabets)
          OR
יהוה (YHWH in Modern Hebrew alphabets without Niqqud / Nikud / Hebrew Vowels)
          OR
יַהְוֶה (YHWH in Modern Hebrew alphabets with Niqqud / Nikud / Hebrew Vowels)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Hebrew text is read from LEFT to RIGHT:-

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach (Hebrew) = Messiah (English) / Anointed One (the Savior who saves the sinners for those who believe in Him)

FULL NAME in Hebrew text with ‘The’: יְהוֹשׁעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahusha Ha-Mashiach = Yahusha The Anointed One.

Christos > Χριστός (Greek) transliterated into Christ (English) which means Anointed One

NOTES:-

1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-

Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-

Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God  / Yah saves.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original ancient Hebrew text spelling and pronunciation.

Yah יָהּ (H3050), + וָֹ (u) + שַׁ Sh + ע A = Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) which means Yahuah (God) saves (H3091). See the diagram below:-

(NOTE: Hebrew text is read from left to right)

יְהוֹשׁעַ (H3091 = God / Yahuah saves)

And ye (you) have not his (His) word abiding in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye (Him you) believe not.

1 John 5:2 King James Version (KJV)
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his (His) commandments.

James 1:22 King James Version (KJV)
But be ye (you) doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth (sows / puts in / plants / spreads), that shall he also reap (harvest / attain / get).

Galatians 6:3 King James Version (KJV)
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth (deceives, is deceiving) himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Colossians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).

1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”

Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Matthew 10:8 King James Version (KJV)
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye (you) have received, freely give.

Romans 10:9 King James Version (KJV)
That if thou shalt (you shall) confess with thy (your) mouth the Lord Jesus (Aḏon Yahusha), and shalt (shall) believe in thine (your) heart that God hath (Yahuah has) raised him (Him) from the dead, thou shalt (you shall) be saved.

John 3:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Jesus (Yahusha) answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly (seriously) say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God (Yahuah).

Isaiah 52:6 King James Version (KJV)
“Therefore MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth (He who does) speak: behold, it is I.”
