CHRISTIAN RADIO (Praise & Worship):-
To be a Christian, we need to check ourselves everyday and all the time to ensure that we set a good example to others.
This is important as we want to be a person who uplift others instead of discouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ or even non-believers. While no one is perfect and everyone make silly mistakes, we can remind ourselves to practice what we read in the Bible in order to be the person whom God wants us to be.
How do we check ourselves? We can either download the SELF CHECKING TEST.pdf and answer the questions in there or we can ask ourselves questions like:-
- Do we judge others?
- Do we treat others as how we are supposed to treat them?
- Are we sharing the gospel with those who are lost or do we look down at them with a thought in our mind saying “What a sinful person he/she is?”
- Are we kind to others when they are poor financially or when they are at their lowest state?
- Do we judge the people who are unable to serve a lot in the church due to job commitments?
- Do we mingle around only with those who can benefit us or rich?
- Do we treat the poor, the elder, the less fortunate well?
- Do we create cliques (a small close-knit group of people who do not readily allow others to join them) in the church?
- Do we make newcomers or those who are not in our age group feel loved and welcomed?
- Do we talk bad behind people’s back or say things that make them feel unworthy?
- How are we behaving as Christians?
We must always remember that Jesus came to save the sinners, not the righteous. He taught us to love one another and to care for one another. Jesus always looks at the heart, not riches, rankings or looks. It is not for us to judge anyone but our duty to encourage them to stay in the right path and walking closely with Jesus and to treat them right. Let us ask ourselves,
