THE LORD'S PRAYER & Praying in tongues | NKJV | Praise & Worship
(Female Narrator)
1) What is the Lord’s Prayer?

This is a prayer guide taught by Jesus Christ himself when He was asked by his disciples on how to pray. This can be found in the book of Matthew, chapter 6, verses 9 to 14 (Matthew 6:9-14). This prayer covers every area that needs to be covered, namely:-

1.1) Addressing Father Lord in heaven in great reverence.
1.2) Welcoming God’s kingdom as how we welcome Him into our lives.
1.3) Acknowledging God’s will to be done, not ours.
1.4) Asking for God’s daily provision
1.5) Repenting from our sins.
1.6) Forgiving those who have sinned against us.
1.7) Request for protection from God.

It is an easy and comprehensive prayer guide that we can use it as a basic prayer guide in our daily prayers. We strongly recommend everyone to memorize this prayer and pray this prayer at least once a day. We then can add on our own prayers. Prayer is a form of communication with our Father in heaven. We can talk to our heavenly Father as He listens to us when we pray earnestly and openly:-

Jeremiah 29:12 English Standard Version (ESV)

“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.”

2) Why do we need to pray at all times?

We need to do so because Satan or the devil and his disciples are working very hard to take our souls to hell by making us weak so we sin against God. If we pray at all times, we keep ourselves close to God and stay strong in our walk with God.

2 Timothy 4:18 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 6:18 English Standard Version (ESV)

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

3) Jesus’ prayer guide

Matthew 6:5-9 English Standard Version (ESV)

5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this:-

THE LORD’S PRAYER (NKJV)
Matthew 6:9-14

~ BEGIN OF THE LORD’S PRAYER ~

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

~ END OF THE LORD’S PRAYER ~

Prayer: Father Lord, open our eyes, heart and mind so that we can learn from You each day. May we bring good news, blessings, healing & encouragement to others. Amen

Blessings.
