THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (King James Version – KJV):-
Exodus 20:1-17 King James Version (KJV)
1 And God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the LORD thy God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. – (COMMANDMENT #1)
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: – (COMMANDMENT #2)
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) am a jealous God (Elohim / Aluahym), visiting the iniquity (sin) of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; – (COMMANDMENT #2)
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. – (COMMANDMENT #2)
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) in vain; for the LORD (ADONAI) will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. – (COMMANDMENT #3)
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. – (COMMANDMENT #4)
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: – (COMMANDMENT #4)
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: – (COMMANDMENT #4)
11 For in six days the LORD (ADONAI) made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD (ADONAI) blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. – (COMMANDMENT #4)
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) giveth thee. – (COMMANDMENT #5)
13 Thou shalt not kill. – (COMMANDMENT #6)
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. – (COMMANDMENT #7)
15 Thou shalt not steal. – (COMMANDMENT #8)
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. – (COMMANDMENT #9)
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. – (COMMANDMENT #10)
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS (Modern English):-
A) WHAT IS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN THE BIBLE?
The Ten Commandments was given by God to Moses when he was on the Mount Sinai. At this time, these people of Israel had left Egypt for three months. God personally engraved His Ten Commandments on the stone tablets:-
Exodus 31:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) gave these Ten Commandments for us to obey. However, Jesus (original name in the Hebrew language; Yahusha) added two more commandments (Matthew 22:35–40, Mark 12:28–34 and Luke 10:27) which we will further elaborate as you read on. These are the basic commandments that we begin with once we start our walk with our Father in heaven once we accepted Jesus (Yahusha) as our personal Lord and Savior. It is good to memorize them. Perhaps you can write them on a sticky note paper or print them out and put it somewhere (example: fridge / study desk / the wall beside your bed ) to help you recite them whenever you can. Once you have memorized them, you can pass your sticky note paper to someone else to help them memorize.
B) THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IN THE BIBLE (in modern English):-
Exodus 20:1-17
1) You shall have no other gods but Me. (VERSE 3)
2) You shall not make for yourself any idol, nor bow down to it or worship it. (VERSE 4-6)
3) You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God (ADONAI your Elohim / Aluahym). (VERSE 7)
4) You shall remember and keep the Sabbath (seventh) day holy. (VERSE 8-11)
5) Respect your father and mother. (VERSE 12)
6) You must not commit murder. (VERSE 13)
7) Be faithful in marriage. (VERSE 14)
8) You must not steal. (VERSE 15)
9) Do not lie. (VERSE 16)
10) You must not desire to posses anything that belongs to another person. (VERSE 17)
C) THE TEN COMMANDMENTS EXPLAINED:-
Commandment no. 1) You shall have no other gods but Me.
= DO NOT PRAY TO OTHER ‘gods’ EXCEPT FOR THE ONE AND ONLY GOD (ELOHIM / ALUAHYM). The Bible stated clearly in many different verses in different books of the Bible that there is only ONE GOD (I AM). Below are the Bible scriptures:-
BIBLE VERSES ON ‘I AM’ (GOD)
Genesis 17:1 King James Version (KJV)
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD (ADONAI) appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Exodus 3:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 And Moses said unto God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Psalm 46:10 King James Version (KJV)
Be still, and know that I am God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Isaiah 42:8 King James Version (KJV)
I am the LORD (ADONAI): that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Isaiah 44:24 King James Version (KJV)
Thus saith the LORD (ADONAI), thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD (ADONAI) that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
Isaiah 46:9 King James Version (KJV)
Remember the former things of old: for I am God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and there is none else; I am God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and there is none like me
John 8:58 King James Version (KJV)
Jesus (Yahusha) said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 14:6 King James Version (KJV)
Jesus (Yahusha) saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:11 King James Version (KJV)
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
Revelation 1:8 King James Version (KJV)
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord (Adonai), which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Jesus (Yahusha) and God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) are one:-
John 10:30 King James Version (KJV)
I and my Father are one.
Commandment no. 2) You shall not make for yourself any idol, nor bow down to it or worship it.
= DO NOT PRAY (WORSHIP) TO any other people or thing besides the ONE AND TRUE LIVING GOD (ELOHIM / ALUAHYM). In short, anything that comes between you and God (Elohim / Aluahym) is an idol.
idols (noun) = an image or representation of a god or even someone used as an object of worship.
Examples: any statue / statue of Mary / statue of Jesus (Yahusha) / statue of saints / statue of a hero / statue of a golden cow / a doll / a rock / a tree / a handsome boyfriend/ a gorgeous girlfriend / image / icon / likeness / relic / fetish / false god / figure / figurine /carving / graven image / effigy / hero / heroine / totem / star / superstar / celebrity
Commandment no. 3) You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
= DO NOT use the name of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) wrongly or lightly or mock God (Elohim / Aluahym) by using His name in jokes or in daily routine simple verbal expressions. EXAMPLES: “Oh my God, this cup is so cute.” “Jesus! You scared me!”
Commandment no. 4) You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy.
= SET THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK ASIDE FOR GOD (ELOHIM / ALUAHYM) TO REMEMBER TO REST IN HIM. God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) worked 6 days and rested on the 7th day. He expects us to do the same. Reason being, sometimes we work too hard until we forget about God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah). This is a requirement to show God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) how much we love and appreciate Him.
On the Sabbath Day, believers can rest from working for a livelihood, do Holy Communion, study and meditate on the Word of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), spend more time communing with our heavenly Father / our Savior Jesus (Yahusha) and the Holy Spirit with fellow believers.
Keeping Sabbath Day holy does not mean that we just lay down on the bed, doing nothing to feel holy. Jesus (Yahusha) Himself had taught us that we are allowed to do healing and help the needy on the Sabbath Day.
What is the meaning of ‘Sabbath Day’?
Hebrew: שַׁבָּת
Transliteration: shabbath
Sabbath = Seventh day / Saturday / Yom Shabbat / Sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday
In accordance with Exodus 20:8–11, the seventh day of the week is designated as the Sabbath. The purpose of this day of rest is to remind the children of Israel that God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) created the universe in six days and then rested on the seventh day.
Jews observe this holy day of rest (Sabbath day) from sunset on Friday until dusk on the following day. See the days of the week in Hebrew below:-

= DO NOT have any love relationship or sexual intercourse with someone who is not your husband or wife. Other versions in the Bible: You must not commit adultery. [a].

Commandment no. 10) You must desire to posses anything that belongs to another person.
= DO NOT BE JEALOUS OR ENVIOUS [c] of others in any way and have wishful thoughts to want what they have. It can be things that can be seen with eyes like car, house, wife, husband or things that cannot be seen like talents, looks & etc. God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) has given different people with different gifts. Be contented with what God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) has blessed us with and we bless others with what we have and good at which others might not have we have.
THE GREAT COMMANDMENTS ADDED BY JESUS (YAHUSHA) IN THE BIBLE:-
Commandment no. 1) Love God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
Commandment no. 2) Love your neighbors (others) as yourself.
Below are the scripture references:-
Mark 12:29-31, Matthew 22:35–40, Mark 12:28–34 and Luke 10:27
Mark 12:29-31 New King James Version (NKJV)
29 Jesus (Yahusha) answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord (Adonai) our God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
32 So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and there is no other but He. 33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 Now when Jesus (Yahusha) saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).”
But after that no one dared question Him.
Matthew 22:35-40 King James Version (KJV)
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus (Yahusha) said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mark 12:28-34 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Greatest Commandment
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
(NOTE: scribes = Jewish learned leaders trained to write and teach the Torah, the law of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah))
29 And Jesus (Yahusha) answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God (Adonai our Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt (you shall) love the Lord thy God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with all thy (your) heart, and with all thy (your) soul, and with all thy (your) mind, and with all thy (your) strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt (You shall) love thy (your) neighbour as thyself (yourself). There is none other commandment greater than these.
32 And the scribe said unto him (Him), Well, Master, thou hast (You have) said the truth: for there is one God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); and there is none other but he (He):
33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
34 And when Jesus (Yahusha) saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art (You are) not far from the kingdom of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah). And no man after that durst (dared to) ask him any question.
Luke 10:27 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 So he (He) answered and said, You shall love the Lord your God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
THE NEW COMMANDMENT GIVEN BY JESUS CHRIST (YAHUSA HA’MASHIACH):-
John 13:34 -35 King James Version (KJV)
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye (you) love one another; as I have loved you, that ye (you) also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye (you) are my disciples, if ye (you) have love one to another.
OTHER IMPORTANT COMMANDMENTS IN THE BIBLE:-
1) GOD (ELOHIM / ALUAHYM) DOES NOT APPROVE FORNICATION (SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE) AND ADULTERERS (THOSE WHO HAVE SEX WITH A PERSON WHO IS NOT THEIR SPOUSE)
Hebrews 13:4 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) will judge.
2) GOD (ELOHIM / ALUAHYM) DOES NOT APPROVE GAYS & LESBIANS
Mark 10:6-9 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 But from the beginning of the creation, God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) has joined together, let not man separate.”
Romans 1:26-28 New King James Version (NKJV)
26 For this reason God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) in their knowledge, God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
Jude 5-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord (Adonai), having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH WAS TRANSLITERATED ALONG THE YEARS
TRANSLATION VS TRANSLITERATION
Translation involves converting text from one language to another while preserving its meaning, context, and tone.
In contrast, transliteration focuses on converting text from one script to another, maintaining the original sounds WITHOUT CONVEYING the meaning.
THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH WAS TRANSLITERATED ALONG THE YEARS
1) יהושע (Hebrew 3091) romanized = Yahusha = God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) saves

DIFFERENT SPELLING VERSIONS OF THE MESSIAH:-
Here are the explanations:-
1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-
Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3442) means He will save. It is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) = God saves. EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.
QUESTION: Were our names shortened in any legal documents? ANSWER: No.
2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-
Yehoshooah / Yehushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner with the niqqud as a pronunciation guide.
QUESTION: If the Messiah came in the name of His Father (Yah) as in John 5:43, will it make sense that the Messiah’s name be “Yehoshooah” / “Yehushua” / “Yehusha”? ANSWER: No.
3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-
Yahushua יהושוע (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (without the niqqud) depicts the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) means The Creator. Yahushua means Yah [I] cry out.
Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יה = The Creator),
u ו (u = Uau) = add
shua שוע (Hebrew 7769) = to cry out > ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + u ו (u = Uau) + ע (a = Ayin)
4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-
Yahusha (יהושע) as spelled in this manner (before the niqqud was created) depicts the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original Pictographic Hebrew. Yahusha means Yahuah saves.
Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יה = The Creator),
u ו (u = Uau) = add
sha שע (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin) (NOTE: The ‘sha‘ here comes from the root word Yasha)
ROOT WORD: Yasha ישע (Hebrew 3467) = to save / deliver / rescue > י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) + ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin).

Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).

1 Judge not, that ye (you) be not judged.
(AMP BIBLE: 1 Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].)
2 For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.
(AMP BIBLE: 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you.)
3 And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold, a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?
5 Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

John 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) so loved the world, that he gave his (that He gave His) only begotten Son [Yahusha ha’Mashiach], that whosoever believeth in him (believes in Him) should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life.
17 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Lord]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Yahusha ha’Mashiach).
