1) INTRODUCTION:-

In this page, we have added our 3m 24s video to show how we conduct the DAILY DEVOTIONAL BIBLE STUDY (S.O.A.P Method) on IMVU as a family in Christ.

We worship, pray, read the Word of God, discuss, share our points and encourage together. Here, God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit is our teacher. We refer to only one book, The Word of God (The Holy Bible) because it is the lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

(Psalm 119:105)

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

(Psalm 119:10)

10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!

2) WHAT IS S.O.A.P METHOD?:-

2.1) S = Scripture – Write down the scripture verse / verses / passage that speaks to your heart.
2.2) O = Observation – Explain what is your observation for instructions and understand what God is telling us to do in the verse or passage.
2.3) A = Application – Explain how this scripture can be applied in our lives.
2.4) P = Prayer – Pray (speak to Abba Father) accordingly to the scripture and ask Him to show us how we can apply the scripture in our lives.

3) OUR OBJECTIVES IN FULL DETAILS:-

In the DAILY DEVOTIONAL BIBLE STUDY (DDBS), we learn together the importance of (we have listed some objectives below):-

  • 3.1) Wearing the full armor of God at all times

(Ephesians 6:10-18)

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

and wearing proper attires / apparels / outfits (being modest in our dressing)

(1 Timothy 2:9-10)

9 likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 but with what is proper for women who profess godliness — with good works

(Romans 12:2)

2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

  • 3.2) Reading the word of God daily

(Psalm 119:105)

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

(Romans 10:17)

17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

(Hosea 4:6)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

  • 3.3) Praying always

(Ephesians 6:18)

18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints

(Romans 12:12)

12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

(1 Thessalonians 5:17)

17 pray without ceasing

(Colossians 4:2)

2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.

(Jeremiah 29:12)

12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

(1 Peter 3:12)

12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

(Philippians 4:6)

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

  • 3.4) Staying united as a family in Christ & loving one another deeply

(John 13:34-35)

34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

(1 Peter 4:8)

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

(1 Corinthians 13:1)

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

(Colossians 3:12-17)

12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

(Hebrews 10:25)

25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

  • 3.5) Spreading the gospel (evangelism), making disciples

(Matthew 28:19-20)

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

bringing healing, proclaiming liberty

(Luke 4:18)

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed

  • 3.6) Learning together

(Proverbs 1:7)

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

(Deuteronomy 31:12)

12 Assemble the people, men, women, and little ones, and the sojourner within your towns, that they may hear and learn to fear the LORD your God, and be careful to do all the words of this law, 13 and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as you live in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

(Deuteronomy 5:1)

And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.

12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.

(Hebrews 3:13)

13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

(1 Thessalonians 5:11)

11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

(Hebrews 10:24-25)

  • 3.9) Practicing grace and mercy

(Titus 3:2-7)

2 to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior

There is so much of treasure knowledge in the Bible! We encourage you to come read the Word of God and pray together with us. Come discover how fun it is to do this together on IMVU.

We even have an ice skating area, toboggan rides, a huge stage and many more activities for everyone to have fellowship together as a family in Christ.

The Bible Scripture below shows that satan knows the Bible Scripture too so he can try to confuse us. He tried to do that with Jesus (Matthew 4:1-10). Therefore we need to know the Word of God extremely well and know how to counter the attack from him. He will always try to steal, kill and destroy us if we do not stay alert and vigilant.:-

Matthew 4:1-10 (English Standard Version):-

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But He answered, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”” 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “He will command his angels concerning you, and On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.” 7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.”

4) PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD (Ephesians 6:10-18)
(In the order of from the head to the feet):-

4.1) Helmet of Salvation

4.2) Breastplate of Righteousness

4.3) Shield of Faith

4.4) Belt of Truth

4.5) Sword of the Spirit

4.6) Feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
