Jesus (Yahusha) Appears Before Pilate (continuation)
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus (Yahusha) into the common hall, and gathered unto him (Him) the whole band of soldiers (and gathered the entire squad around Him).
28 And they stripped him (Him), and put on him (Him) a scarlet (brilliant red color) robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his (His) head, and a reed in his (His) right hand: and they bowed the knee before him (Him), and mocked him (Him), saying, Hail, King of the Jews! (Greetings, Sovereign of the Yahudim!)
(NOTE: mock (verb) = tease or laugh at in a scornful or contemptuous manner)
30 And they spit upon him (Him), and took the reed, and smote (struck) him (Him) on the head.
(NOTE: smote (verb – simple past tense of smite) = Hit forcibly and deliberately with one’s hand or a weapon or other implement)
31 And after that they had mocked him (Him), they took the robe off from him (Him), and put his own raiment (clothing) on him (Him), and led him (Him) away to crucify him (Him).
(NOTE: crucify (verb) = Put someone to death by nailing or binding them to a cross, especially as an ancient punishment for criminals)
The Crucifixion of Jesus (Yahusha)
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled (forced) to bear (carry) his (His) cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him (Him) vinegar to drink mingled (mixed) with gall: and when he (He) had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him (Him), and parted his (His) garments (clothing), casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my (My) garments among them, and upon my (My) vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him (Him) there;
37 And set up over his (His) head his (His) accusation written, This Is Jesus (Yahusha) The King Of The Jews.
38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him (Him), one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled (criticized, insulted) him (Him), wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou (You) that destroyest (destroy) the temple, and buildest (rebuild) it in three days, save thyself (Yourself). If thou be (If You are) the Son of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him (Him), with the scribes and elders, said,
(NOTE: scribes (noun – plural of scribe) = Jewish learned leaders trained to write and teach the Torah, the law of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah))
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save (but He cannot save Himself). If he (He) be the King of Israel, let him (Him) now come down from the cross, and we will believe him (Him).
43 He trusted in God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); let him deliver him now (let God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) rescue Him now), if he (He) will have him (Him): for he (Yahusha) said, I am the Son of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him (Him), cast the same in his teeth (scolded Him scornfully in the same way).
Jesus’ (Yahusha’s) Death in the Cross
45 Now from the sixth hour (noon) there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour (3 pm).
46 And about the ninth hour (3 pm) Jesus (Yahusha) cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God (Elohim / Aluahym), my God (Elohim / Aluahym), why hast thou (why have You) forsaken me (Me)?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias (This man is calling for Elijah).
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge (sponge), and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him (Him) to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias (Elijah) will come to save him (Him).
50 Jesus (Yahusha), when he (He) had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost (releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]).

Bring Offerings to the Tabernacle
17 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) commanded, saying,
3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth (kills) an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth (kills) it out of the camp,
4 And bringeth it not unto the door (And does not bring it to the doorway) of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) before the tabernacle of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); blood shall be imputed unto that man (that man shall be guilty of bloodshed); he hath (has) shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
8 And thou shalt (you shall) say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth (offers) a burnt offering or sacrifice,
9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth (eat) any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth (eats) blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement (forgiveness) for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh (makes) an atonement (forgiveness) for the soul.
Israel Forbidden to Eat Blood
12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth (sojourns) among you eat blood.
13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth (hunt) and catcheth (catch) any beast (animal) or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye (You) shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth (eats) it shall be cut off.
15 And every soul that eateth (eats) that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity (immoral or grossly unfair behavior / guilt / sin).

Israel to Keep God’s (Elohim’s) Ordinances
18 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) your God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt (you lived), shall ye (you) not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye (you) not do: neither shall ye (you) walk in their ordinances.
4 Ye (You) shall do my judgments, and keep mine (my) ordinances (rules, decrees, precept), to walk therein: I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) your God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
5 Ye (You) shall therefore keep my statutes (written laws), and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
The Sin of Incest
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin (near relative) to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
7 The nakedness of thy (your) father, or the nakedness of thy (your) mother, shalt thou not (you shall not) uncover: she is thy (your) mother; thou shalt not (you shall not) uncover her nakedness.
8 The nakedness of thy (your) father’s wife shalt thou not (you shall not) uncover: it is thy (your) father’s nakedness.
9 The nakedness of thy (your) sister, the daughter of thy (your) father, or daughter of thy (your) mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not (you shall not) uncover.
10 The nakedness of thy (your) son’s daughter, or of thy (your) daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not (you shall not) uncover: for theirs is thine (your) own nakedness.
11 The nakedness of thy (your) father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy (your) father, she is thy (your) sister, thou shalt not (you shall not) uncover her nakedness.
12 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of thy (your) father’s sister: she is thy (your) father’s near kinswoman (relative).
13 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of thy (your) mother’s sister: for she is thy (your) mother’s near kinswoman (relative).
14 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of thy (your) father’s brother, thou shalt not (you shall not) approach to his wife: she is thine (your) aunt.
15 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of thy (your) daughter in law: she is thy (your) son’s wife; thou shalt not (you shall not) uncover her nakedness.
16 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of thy (your) brother’s wife: it is thy (your) brother’s nakedness.
17 Thou shalt not (You shall not) uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen (relatives): it is wickedness.
18 Neither shalt thou (shall you) take a wife to her sister, to vex her (to cause frustration; as a rival while she is alive), to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.
Immoral Acts Forbidden
19 Also thou shalt not (you shall not) approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
20 Moreover thou shalt not (you shall not) lie carnally with thy (your) neighbour’s wife, to defile (dishonor, taint, profane), thyself (yourself) with her.
21 And thou shalt not (you shall not) let any of thy (your) seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou (shall you) profane the name of thy (your) God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
22 Thou shalt not (You shall not) lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination (repulsive / disgusting).
23 Neither shalt thou (shall you) lie with any beast to defile thyself (taint yourself) therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Israel not to be Defiled
24 Defile not ye (you) yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled (dishonored / tainted / profaned) which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled (dishonored, tainted, profaned): therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth (vomits) out her inhabitants.
26 Ye (You) shall therefore keep my statutes (written laws) and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth (sojourns, stays temporarily) among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled (dishonored / tainted / profaned));
28 That the land spue (vomit) not you out also, when ye (you) defile (dishonored) it, as it spued (vomited) out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye (you) keep mine ordinance (My authoritative command or order), that ye (you) commit not any one of these abominable customs (repulsive customs), which were committed before you, and that ye (you) defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) your God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
