God’s (Yahuah’s) Mercy on Israel

11 I say then, Hath God (Has Yah / Yahuah / YHWH) cast away his people (has Yahuah rejected and disowned His people)? God forbid (Yahuah does not allow it!). For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

God hath (Yahuah has) not cast away his people which he (He) foreknew. Wot ye not (Or do you not know) what the scripture saith of Elias (says of Elijah)? how he maketh intercession (makes pleads) to God (Yahuah) against Israel saying,

Lord (Adonai), they have killed thy (Your) prophets, and digged (torn) down thine (Your) altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

But what saith (says) the answer of God (Yahuah) unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

(NOTE: Baal = an idol [opposite of the One True Almighty God / Yahuah] that looks like a cow with two horns which is associated with or equivalent Satan / Devil or His demons)

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant (small remaining believers) according to the election of grace.

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

What then? Israel hath (has) not obtained that which he seeketh (He seeks) for; but the election (elect; the chosen few) hath (has) obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

(According as it is written, God hath (Yahuah has) given them the spirit of slumber (sleep), eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

And David saith (says), Let their table be made a snare (trap), and a trap, and a stumblingblock (stumbling block), and a recompence unto (punishment to) them:

10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway (always).

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid (Yahuah does not allow it!): but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

(NOTE: Gentiles = anyone who is not of Jewish descent or who does not believe in God [Yahuah]; heathen, pagan)

12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine (my) office:

14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation (jealousy) them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling (relationship restoration) of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou (you), being a wild olive tree, wert (were) grafted in among them, and with them partakest (partake) of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou (you) boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee (remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root that supports you).

OLD TESTAMENT

Psalm 79
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

A Psalm of Asaph.

79 O god (God / Yah / Yahuah / YHWH), the heathen are come into thine (Your) inheritance; thy (Your) holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

(NOTE: heathen = An old-fashioned and offensive word for someone who has no religion, or belongs to a religion that is not Christianity, Judaism, or Islam)

The dead bodies of thy (Your) servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy (Your) saints unto the beasts of the earth.

Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

We are become a reproach to our neighbours (We have become an object of taunting to our neighbors), a scorn and derision (mockery) to them that are round about us.

How long, Lord (Adonai)? wilt thou (Will You) be angry for ever? shall thy (Your) jealousy burn like fire?

Pour out thy wrath (Your extreme anger) upon the heathen that have not known thee (You), and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy (Your) name.

For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling (living) place.

O remember not against us former iniquities (sins): let thy (Your) tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

Help us, O God (Yahuah) of our salvation, for the glory of thy (Your) name: and deliver us, and purge away (get rid of) our sins, for thy (Your) name’s sake.

10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God (Yahuah)? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy (Your) servants which is shed.

11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee (You); according to the greatness of thy (Your) power preserve thou (You) those that are appointed to die;

12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold (seven times) into their bosom their reproach (taunts), wherewith they have reproached thee (taunted You), O Lord (Adonai).

13 So we thy (Your) people and sheep of thy (Your) pasture will give thee (You) thanks for ever: we will shew (show) forth thy (Your) praise to all generations.

Psalm 80
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the Chief Musician upon Shoshannim-Eduth. A Psalm of Asaph.

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou (You) that leadest (who led) Joseph like a flock; thou (You) that dwellest (live) between the cherubims, shine forth.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy (Your) strength, and come and save us.

Turn us again, O God (Yahuah), and cause thy (Your) face to shine; and we shall be saved.

O Lord God (O Adonai Yahuah) of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy (Your) people?

Thou feedest (You feed) them with the bread of tears; and givest (give) them tears to drink in great measure.

Thou makest (You make) us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

Turn us again, O God (Yahuah) of hosts, and cause thy (Your) face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Thou hast (You have) brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast (You have) cast out the heathen, and planted it.

Thou preparedst (You prepare) room before it, and didst (did) cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.

11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.

12 Why hast thou (have You) then broken down her hedges (fences), so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

13 The boar out of the wood doth (does) waste it, and the wild beast (animals) of the field doth (does) devour it.

14 Return, we beseech thee (We plead to You), O God (Yahuah) of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;

15 And the vineyard which thy (Your) right hand hath (has) planted, and the branch that thou madest (You made) strong for thyself (Yourself).

16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance (They perish at the rebuke of Your [angry] appearance).

17 Let thy (Your) hand be upon the man of thy (Your) right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest (You made) strong for thyself (Yourself).

18 So will not we go back from thee (You): quicken (Revive) us, and we will call upon thy (Your) name.

19 Turn us again, O Lord God (O Adonai Yahuah) of hosts, cause thy (Your) face to shine; and we shall be saved.

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

The video below is done by a Jewish Hebrew language lady teacher. Her name is Ayelet. She is born and raised in Israel. Hebrew is her native language. In this video, we will be able to learn the correct pronunciation of the Messiah’s original name in Hebrew:-

VIDEO: Jesus – Yeshua in Hebrew – Hebrew Word of the Day (59 secs) – by The WORD in HEBREW

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach (Hebrew) = Messiah (English) / Anointed One (the Savior who saves the sinners for those who believe in Him)

FULL NAME in Hebrew text with ‘The’: יְהוֹשׁוּעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahushua Ha-Mashiach = Yahushua The Anointed One.

Christos > Χριστός (Greek) transliterated into Christ (English) which means Anointed One

NOTES:-

1. Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God  / Yah saves.

3. Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. Yahusha as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yahuah יְהוָֹה (H3068), adds Yasha יָשַׁע (H3467 ) which means ‘Saves’. See the diagram below:-
