Life in the Spirit

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahushua / Yeshua), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath (Mashiach Yahushua / Yeshua has) made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): for it is not subject to the law of God (Yahuah), neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

But ye (you) are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell (Spirit of Yahuah lives) in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ (Mashiach), he is none of his.

10 And if Christ (Mashiach) be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him (Him; Yah / Yahuah / YHWH) that raised up Jesus (Yeshua / Yahushua) from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth (dwells, lives) in you.

12 Therefore, brethren (fellow believers), we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye (you) live after the flesh, ye (you) shall die: but if ye (you) through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye (you) shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), they are the sons of God (Elohim / Aluahym).

15 For ye (you) have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye (you) have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth (bears) witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah):

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and joint-heirs with Christ (Mashiach); if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

The Future Glory

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth (waits) for the manifestation of the sons of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath (has) subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (Yahuah).

OLD TESTAMENT

Psalm 68
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David.

68 Let God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) arise, let his (His) enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him (Him) flee before him (Him).

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth (melts) before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God (Yahuah) .

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea (yes), let them exceedingly rejoice.

Sing unto God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), sing praises to his (His) name: extol him (Him) that rideth (rides) upon the heavens by his (Him) name Jah (Yah), and rejoice before him (Him).

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) in his holy habitation.

God setteth (Yahuah sets) the solitary in families: he bringeth (He brings) out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when thou wentest (You went) forth before thy (Your) people, when thou didst (You did) march through the wilderness; Selah:

(NOTESelah (interjection) = Suspension (of music, i.e. pause [H5542 – סֶלָה]).

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God (Yahuah): even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God (Yahuah), the God (Yah) of Israel.

Thou (You), O God (Yahuah), didst (did) send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst (You did) confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

10 Thy (Your) congregation hath dwelt (has lived) therein: thou (You), O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), hast (has) prepared of thy (Your) goodness for the poor.

11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried (waited) at home divided the spoil (plunder).

13 Though ye (You) have lien among the pots, yet shall ye (You) be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

15 The hill of God (Yahuah) is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

16 Why leap ye (you), ye (you) high hills? this is the hill which God desireth (desires) to dwell (live) in; yea (yes), the Lord will dwell (live) in it for ever.

17 The chariots of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

18 Thou hast (You have) ascended on high, thou hast (You have) led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea (yes), for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth (loads) us with benefits, even the God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of our salvation. Selah.

20 He that is our God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is the God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.

21 But God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth (goes) on still in his trespasses.

22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

23 That thy (your) foot may be dipped in the blood of thine (your) enemies, and the tongue of thy (your) dogs in the same.

24 They have seen thy (Your) goings, O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

26 Bless ye (you) God in the congregations, even the Lord (YHWH), from the fountain of Israel.

27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

28 Thy God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) commanded thy (your) strength: strengthen, O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that which thou hast wrought for us (as you have done before).

29 Because of thy (your) temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee (you).

30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou (you) the people that delight in war.

31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God (Yahuah).

32 Sing unto God (Yahuah), ye (you) kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord (YHWH); Selah:

33 To him that rideth (rides) upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo (look), he doth (He does) send out his voice, and that a mighty voice.

34 Ascribe ye (you) strength unto God (Yahuah): his (His) excellency is over Israel, and his (His) strength is in the clouds.

35 O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), thou art terrible (You are intense) out of thy (Your) holy places: the God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of Israel is he that giveth (gives) strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

Psalm 69
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, A Psalm of David.

69 Save me, O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); for the waters are come in unto my soul.

I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine (my) eyes fail while I wait for my God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine (my) head: they that would destroy me, being mine (my) enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

O God (Yahuah), thou knowest (You know) my foolishness; and my sins are not hid (hidden) from thee (You).

Let not them that wait on thee (You), O Lord God (YHWH Yahuah) of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee (You) be confounded for my sake, O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of Israel.

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach (disgrace)); shame hath (has) covered my face.

I am become a stranger unto my brethren (brothers), and an alien (a stranger) unto my mother’s children.

For the zeal of thine (your) house hath (has) eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee (you) are fallen upon me.

10 When I wept, and chastened (disciplined) my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach (disgrace).

11 I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12 They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

13 But as for me, my prayer is unto thee (You), O Lord (YHWH), in an acceptable time: O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), in the multitude of thy (Your) mercy hear me, in the truth of thy (Your) salvation.

14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 Hear me, O Lord (YHWH); for thy (Your) lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy (Your) tender mercies.

17 And hide not thy (Your) face from thy (Your) servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 Draw nigh unto (near to) my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine (my) enemies.

19 Thou hast (You have) known my reproach (disgrace), and my shame, and my dishonour: mine (my) adversaries (enemies) are all before thee (You).

20 Reproach hath (Disgrace has) broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 Let their table become a snare (trap) before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24 Pour out thine indignation (Your anger) upon them, and let thy (Your) wrathful anger take hold of them.

25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell (live) in their tents.

26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten (you have stricken); and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast (you have) wounded.

27 Add iniquity (sin) unto their iniquity (sin): and let them not come into thy (Your) righteousness.

28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy (Your) salvation, O God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), set me up on high.

30 I will praise the name of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31 This also shall please the Lord (YHWH) better than an ox or bullock that hath (has) horns and hoofs.

32 The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

33 For the Lord (YHWH) heareth (hears) the poor, and despiseth (despises) not his prisoners.

34 Let the heaven and earth praise him (Him), the seas, and every thing that moveth (moves) therein.

35 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell (live) there, and have it in possession.

36 The seed also of his (His) servants shall inherit it: and they that love his (His) name shall dwell (live) therein.

FOOTNOTES

Selah (interjection) meaning in the Bible

(NOTESelah (interjection) = Suspension (of music, i.e. pause [H5542 – סֶלָה]).

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

The video below is done by a Jewish Hebrew language lady teacher. Her name is Ayelet. She is born and raised in Israel. Hebrew is her native language. In this video, we will be able to learn the correct pronunciation of the Messiah’s original name in Hebrew:-

VIDEO: Jesus – Yeshua in Hebrew – Hebrew Word of the Day (59 secs) – by The WORD in HEBREW

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach (Hebrew) = Messiah (English) / Anointed One (the Savior who saves the sinners for those who believe in Him)

FULL NAME in Hebrew text with ‘The’: יְהוֹשׁוּעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahushua Ha-Mashiach = Yahushua The Anointed One.

Christos > Χριστός (Greek) transliterated into Christ (English) which means Anointed One

NOTES:-

1. Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God  / Yah saves.

3. Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. Yahusha as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yahuah יְהוָֹה (H3068), adds Yasha יָשַׁע (H3467 ) which means ‘Saves’. See the diagram below:-
