The Second Tables (Tablets) of Stone

34 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, Hew thee (Cut you) two tables (tablets) of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables (tablets), which thou brakest (you broke).

And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present thyself (yourself) there to me in the top of the mount.

And no man shall come up with thee (you), neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

And he hewed (cut) two tables (tablets) of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables (tablets) of stone.

The LORD (ELOHIM) Passes Before Moses

And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), The Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

(NOTE: iniquity (noun) = עָוֹן (Hebrew 5771 – avon) immoral sin, grossly unfair behavior, fault, mischief, evil, punishment of iniquity, sin)

(NOTE: transgression (noun) = an act that goes against a law, rule, or code of conduct / moral principle; breach / offense)

And Moses made haste (quickly), and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

And he said, If now I have found grace in thy (your) sight, O Lord (Adonai), let my Lord (Adonai), I pray thee (you), go among us; for it is a stiffnecked (haughty and stubborn) people; and pardon our iniquity (immoral or grossly unfair behavior) and our sin, and take us for thine (your) inheritance.

God (Elohim) Renews the Covenant

10 And he said, Behold (Look), I make a covenant (an agreement): before all thy (Your) people I will do marvels (amazing work, miracles), such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art (You are) shall see the work of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee (you).

11 Observe thou (you) that which I command thee (you) this day: behold, I drive out before thee (you) the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

No Covenant with the Inhabitants

12 Take heed to thyself (Pay attention to yourself), lest thou make a covenant (you must avoid the risk of making an agreement) with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest (where you are going), lest it be for a snare (for fear that it becomes a trap) in the midst of thee (you):

13 But ye (you) shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

14 For thou shalt (you shall) worship no other god: for the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah):

15 Lest thou (For fear that when you) make a covenant (agreement) with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee (you), and thou (you) eat of his sacrifice;

16 And thou (you) take of their daughters unto thy (your) sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy (your) sons go a whoring after their gods.

17 Thou shalt (You shall) make thee (you) no molten gods.

Keep the Feast of the Unleavened Bread

18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou (you shall) keep. Seven days thou shalt (you shall) eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee (you), in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest (you came) out from Egypt.

19 All that openeth (open) the matrix (womb) is mine; and every firstling among thy (your) cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.

20 But the firstling of an ass (a donkeythou shalt (you shall) redeem with a lamb: and if thou (you) redeem him not, then shalt thou (shall you) break his neck. All the firstborn of thy (your) sons thou shalt (you shall) redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

21 Six days thou shalt (you shall) work, but on the seventh day (7th Day) thou shalt rest (you shall rest): in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest (you shall rest).

Keep the Other Feast Days

22 And thou shalt (you shall) observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.

23 Thrice (3 times) in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), the God (Elohim / Aluahym) of Israel.

24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy (your) borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt (you shall) go up to appear before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) thy (your) God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) thrice (3 times) in the year.

25 Thou shalt not (You shall not) offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

26 The first of the firstfruits of thy (your) land thou shalt (you shall) bring unto the house of the Lord thy God (Adonai your Elohim / Aluahym). Thou shalt not (You shall not) seethe (boil) a kid in his mother’s milk.

Recording the Covenant

27 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, Write thou (you) these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant (an agreement) with thee (you) and with Israel.

28 And he was there with the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) forty (40) days and forty (40) nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables (tablets) the words of the covenant (agreement), the ten commandments (the Ten Commandments).

Moses’ Face Shines

29 And it came to pass (And it happened like this), when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables (tablets) of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not (did not know) that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him (Him; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold (look), the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh (near) him.

31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.

32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh (near): and he gave them in commandment all that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail (veil) on his face.

34 But when Moses went in before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) to speak with him, he took the vail (veil) off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto (spoke to) the children of Israel that which he was commanded.

35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail (veil) upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him (Him; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

Sabbath Observance

35 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) commanded, that ye (you) should do them.

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an (a) holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): whosoever doeth (does any) work therein shall be put to death.

(NOTE: Sabbath Day (proper noun – name of the day of the week) = Hebrew: שַׁבָּת. Transliteration: shabbath. Sabbath = Seventh day / Saturday / Yom Shabbat / Sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. In accordance with Exodus 20:8–11, the Almighty Creator Himself commanded that the seventh day of the week to be kept holy as the Sabbath Day (COMMANDMENT #4). The purpose of this day of rest is to remind the children of Israel (Yisrael) that God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) created the universe in six days and then rested on the seventh day. Jews and believers of Yahuah and Yahusha observe this holy day of rest (Sabbath day) from sunset on Friday until dusk on the following day. Genesis 1:5 (King James Version) And God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.)

Ye (You) shall kindle (ignite / provoke) no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

God (Elohim) Asks for Willing Offerings

And Moses spake unto (spoke to) all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) commanded, saying,

Take ye (you) from among you an offering unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); gold, and silver, and brass,

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,

And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,

(NOTE: ram (noun) = An uncastrated male sheep)

And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

(NOTE: ephod (noun) = (Hebrew: אֵפוֹד ʾēfōḏ; /ˈɛfɒd/ or /ˈfɒd/) A vestment worn by ancient Hebrew priests)

11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

(NOTE: tabernacle (noun) = a fixed or movable habitation, typically of light construction (a portable and ornate tent shrine); Tabernacle literally means ‘place of dwelling‘ and was so called in the belief that God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) literally lived within its sacred confines. When Israel (Yisrael) camped, the tabernacle was set up in the precise center of the camp (symbolizing the idea that God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) was to be the center of His people’s lives)

12 The ark, and the staves (poles) thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail (veil) of the covering,

13 The table, and his staves (poles), and all his vessels, and the shewbread (showbread),

(NOTE: shewbread (noun – archaic English) = twelve loaves placed every Sabbath in the Jewish Temple and eaten by the priests at the end of the week)

14 The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,

15 And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,

16 The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen (bronze) grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.

The People Bring Their Offerings

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s (Elohim’s) offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments (clothing).

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.

24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord’s (Elohim’s) offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Tabernacle Workmen Chosen

30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31 And he hath (has) filled him with the spirit of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

32 And to devise curious works (to design artistic works), to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work (artistic workmanship).

34 And he hath (has) put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 Them hath he filled (He has filled them) with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman (skills), and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work (those who design artistic works).

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

Ancient / Paleo Hebrew 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahuah is Salvation) 𐤌𐤔𐤉𐤇 (Messiah)
Modern Hebrew יהושע (Yahusha = Yahuah is Salvation) המשיח (ha‘Mashiach = The Anointed One)

  ⬇ transliterated
into Greek as Iēsous (Ἰησοῦς)
  ⬇ transliterated
into Latin as Iesus
  ⬇ transliterated
into English as Jesus

DIFFERENT SPELLING VERSIONS OF THE MESSIAH:-

Here are the explanations:-

1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-

Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3442) means He will save. It is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) = God saves. EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

QUESTION: Were our names shortened in any legal documents? ANSWER: No.

2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-

Yehoshooah / Yehushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner with the niqqud as a pronunciation guide.

QUESTION: If the Messiah came in the name of His Father (Yah) as in John 5:43, will it make sense that the Messiah’s name be “Yehoshooah” / “Yehushua” / “Yehusha”? ANSWER: No.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua יהושוע (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (without the niqqud) depicts the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) means The Creator. Yahushua means Yah [I] cry out.

Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יה = The Creator),

u ו (u = Uau) = add

shua שוע (Hebrew 7769) = to cry out > ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + u ו (u = Uau) + ע (a = Ayin)

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יהושע) as spelled in this manner (before the niqqud was created) depicts the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original Pictographic Hebrew. Yahusha means Yahuah saves.

Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יה = The Creator),

u ו (u = Uau) = add

sha שע (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin) (NOTE: The ‘sha‘ here comes from the root word Yasha)

ROOT WORD: Yasha ישע (Hebrew 3467) = to save / deliver / rescue > י (y = Yad) & הּ (ah = Hay) + ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin).
