MY TESTIMONY: I am a SURVIVOR of the horrifying Hurricane Dorain (Category 5)

Aisha (Guest): Ride out your storm category 5 hurricane came to the Bahamas last month, and in all my years I have never experience such horror in my life. Me, my mother and children had to run out of our house in the storm to save ourselves from drowning as the water rushed into our yard and into our home. And even though the water was running all around us this song came to my mind. I was so afraid that I was going to drown or even worse my mother and children and there was nowhere to run, no one to save us…But this song kept playing in my mind in the midst of the storm. The Lord send our neighbors to help us walk through the raging waters that was to our waist, and the howling, windy winds and sticky, pin dropping raindrops that slap our faces…We held unto each other as we ride out the storm. The wind was pushing against us..When we reached the top of the hill and looked down it look like the canal had moved through our neighborhood. A neighbor took us to a shelter nearby, a preschool/church.
At the preschool the floods started to come in so we had to run outside again to the church, where the floods came running in behind us…And through the terror, and screaming, and fear all around us, this song replayed in my head. We had to run to the balcony of the church where the waves could not reach.. And for 3 days we sat looking down at the water that fill the church, listening to the howling winds, babies crying, afraid because we didn’t know what was going on the outside because there was no communication…But through it all this song played in my mind and it gave me peace in my heart and I know it was from God…He told me that I can ride out the storm because He is right here with me, He will never leave me, nor forsake me. He would protect me and my family and He did..So no matter what storms of life you are facing today know that with Jesus, you can ride out your storm…
