God has given Jesus Christ the authority to judge:-
John 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 For the Father judgeth (judges) no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth (honors) not the Son honoureth (honors) not the Father which hath (has) sent him.
Lord Jesus Christ will judging everyone according to their deeds on the Judgment Day:-
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath (has) done, whether it be good or bad.
God promises five (5) types of crowns as rewards to His faithful children. Let us look at all the FIVE HEAVENLY CROWNS IN THE BIBLE:-
CROWN #1) The Incorruptible (Imperishable) Crown
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (KJV)
24 Know ye (you) not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth (receives) the prize? So run, that ye (you) may obtain.
25 And every man that striveth (strives, makes great effort) for the mastery is temperate (self-control) in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.)
(NOTE: incorruptible = imperishable, indestructible, inextinguishable
1 Peter 1:4 (KJV)
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth (fades) not away, reserved in heaven for you
CROWN #2) The Crown of Rejoicing
1 Thessalonians 2:19 (KJV)
For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye (you) in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
CROWN #3) The Crown of Righteousness
2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
CROWN #4) The Crown of Life
James 1:12 (KJV)
Blessed is the man that endureth (endures) temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Revelation 2:10 (KJV)
Fear none of those things which thou shalt (you shall) suffer: behold, the devil shall cast (throw) some of you into prison, that ye (you) may be tried; and ye (you) shall have tribulation ten days: be thou (you) faithful unto death, and I will give thee (you) a crown of life.
1 John 2:25 (KJV)
And this is the promise that he hath (He has) promised us, even eternal life.
CROWN #5) The Crown of Glory
1 Peter 5:4 (KJV)
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth (fades) not away.
