Love (Charity) is the Greatest
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal (clanging [annoying noisy] gong).
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow (provide) all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profiteth (profits) me nothing.
4 Charity sufferethlong (Love endures with patience), and is kind; charity envieth (envies) not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up (love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant),
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly (It is not rude), seeketh not her own (it is not self-seeking), is not easily provoked (triggering anger), thinketh (thinks) no evil;
6 Rejoiceth (Rejoices) not in iniquity (sin), but rejoiceth (rejoices) in the truth;
7 Beareth (Bears) all things, believeth (believes) all things, hopeth (hopes) all things, endureth (endures) all things.
8 Charity never faileth (Love never fails): but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease (stop); whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away (pass away).
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part (For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]).
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away (But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away).
11 When I was a child, I spake (spoke) as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known (For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]).
13 And now abideth (stay, remain) faith, hope, charity (love), these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love).

Psalm 137
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)
Background music:-
137 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea (yes), we wept, when we remembered Zion.
(NOTE: Zion (proper noun) = Mount Zion is a hill in Jerusalem, located just outside the walls of the Old City to the south. It is the city of David and the city of God. The word Zion is also used in a theological or spiritual sense in Scripture. In the Old Testament Zion refers figuratively to Israel as the people of God (Isaiah 60:14)).
2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4 How shall we sing the Lord’s (Yahuah’s) song in a strange land?
5 If I forget thee (you), O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6 If I do not remember thee (you), let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7 Remember, O Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it (Completely destroy it), rase it, even to the foundation thereof (even to her very foundation).
8 O daughter of Babylon, who art (are) to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us (who repays you [with destruction] as you have repaid us).
9 Happy shall he be, that taketh (takes) and dasheth thy (dashes your) little ones against the stones.
Psalm 138
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)
Background music:-
A Psalm of David.
138 I will praise thee (You) with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee (You).
2 I will worship toward thy (Your) holy temple, and praise thy name for thy (Your) lovingkindness and for thy (Your) truth: for thou hast (You have) magnified thy word above all thy (Your) name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst (You answered) me, and strengthenedst (strengthened) me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee (You), O Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when they hear the words of thy (Your) mouth.
5 Yea (Yes), they shall sing in the ways of the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): for great is the glory of the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
6 Though the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) be high, yet hath he (has He) respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off (But the proud / haughty He knows from a distance).
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt (You will) revive me: thou shalt (You shall) stretch forth thine (Your) hand against the wrath of mine (my) enemies, and thy (Your) right hand shall save me.
8 The Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) will perfect that which concerneth (concerns) me: thy (Your) mercy, O Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), endureth (endures) for ever: forsake not the works of thine (Your) own hands.
Psalm 139
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)
Background music:-
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
139 O lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), thou hast (You have) searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting (You know when I sit down) and mine uprising (and when I rise up), thou understandest (You understand) my thought afar off (from afar).
3 Thou compassest (You surround) my path and my lying down, and art acquainted (are familiar) with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo (look), O Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), thou knowest (You know) it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset (You have enclosed) me behind and before, and laid thine (Your) hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it (reach it).
7 Whither shall I go from thy (Where can I go from Your) spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence (Or where can I flee from Your presence)?
8 If I ascend (move upward) up into heaven, thou art (You are) there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art (You are) there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell (live) in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy (Your) hand lead me, and thy (Your) right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea (Yes), the darkness hideth (hides) not from thee (You); but the night shineth (shines) as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee (You).
13 For thou hast possessed my reins (For You formed my innermost parts): thou hast (You have) covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise thee (You); for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous (marvelous) are thy (Your) works; and that my soul knoweth (knows) right well.
15 My substance (frame) was not hid (hidden) from thee (You), when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought (worked) in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine (Your) eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy (Your) book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy (Your) thoughts unto me, O God (Elohim; Yahuah)! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee (You).
19 Surely thou wilt slay (You will kill) the wicked, O God (Elohim; Yahuah): depart from me therefore, ye (you) bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee (You) wickedly, and thine (Your) enemies take thy (Your) name in vain (lightly).
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that hate thee (You)? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee (You)?
22 I hate them with perfect (utmost) hatred: I count them mine (my) enemies.
23 Search me, O God (Elohim; Yahuah), and know my heart: try (test) me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
