We Are God’s (Yahuah’s) Ambassadors (continuation)

6 We then, as workers together with him, beseech (urge) you also that ye (you) receive not the grace of God (Elohim; Yahuah) in vain.

(For he saith (says), I have heard thee (you) in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee (assisted you): behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed (We put no obstruction in anyone’s path, so that the ministry will not be discredited):

(NOTE: ministry (noun) = the service and work carried out by individuals who are called to serve God (Elohim; Yahuah)  and His people)

Paul’s Hardship

But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God (Elohim; Yahuah), in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults (riots), in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost (by the Holy Spirit), by love unfeigned (by sincere love),

By the word of truth, by the power of God (Elohim; Yahuah), by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;

As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened (disciplined), and not killed;

10 As sorrowful, yet alway (always) rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

11 O ye (you) Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

12 Ye (You) are not straitened in us, but ye (you) are straitened in your own bowels.

(AMP: There is no limit to our affection for you, but you are limited in your own affection [for us]).

13 Now for a recompence (reward) in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged (open wide [your hearts] to us also).

The Temple of the Living God (Elohim; Yahuah)

14 Be ye (you) not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath (has) righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath (has) light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath (agreement has) Christ (Mashiach) with Belial (the Devil / fallen angel / Satan / Lucifer)? or what part hath (has) he that believeth (believes) with an infidel (unbeliever)?

16 And what agreement hath (has) the temple of God (Elohim; Yahuah) with idols? for ye (you) are the temple of the living God (Elohim; Yahuah); as God hath (has) said, I will dwell (live) in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God (Elohim; Yahuah), and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye (you) separate, saith (says) the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye (you) shall be my (My) sons and daughters, saith (says) the Lord Almighty (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah El Sahddai).

Background music:-

16 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) weigheth (weighs) the spirits.

Commit thy (your) works unto the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) , and thy (your) thoughts shall be established.

The Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) made all things for himself (Himself): yea (yes), even the wicked for the day of evil.

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

By mercy and truth iniquity (sin) is purged: and by the fear of the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) men depart from evil.

When a man’s ways please the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), he maketh (He makes) even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues (incomes) without right.

A man’s heart deviseth (devises, invents) his way: but the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) directeth (directs) his steps.

10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not (do not sin) in judgment.

11 A just weight and balance are the Lord’s (Yahuah’s): all the weights of the bag are his work.

12 It is an abomination (disgusting) to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.

13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh (speaks) right.

14 The wrath (extreme anger) of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.

15 In the light of the king’s countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter (final) rain.

16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth (keeps) his way preserveth (preserves) his soul.

18 Pride goeth (goes) before destruction, and an haughty (a proud) spirit before a fall.

19 Better it is to be of an (a) humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

20 He that handleth (handles) a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth (trusts) in the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), happy is he.

21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent (careful / wise): and the sweetness of the lips increaseth (increases) learning.

22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath (has) it: but the instruction of fools is folly (foolishness).

23 The heart of the wise teacheth (teaches) his mouth, and addeth (adds) learning to his lips.

24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

25 There is a way that seemeth (seems) right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

26 He that laboureth laboureth (labor, labors) for himself; for his mouth craveth (craves) it of him.

27 An ungodly man diggeth (digs) up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

28 A froward man soweth strife (A perverse man spreads strife): and a whisperer separateth (separates) chief friends.

29 A violent man enticeth (entices) his neighbour, and leadeth (leads) him into the way that is not good.

30 He shutteth (shuts) his eyes to devise froward things (invent disobedience): moving his lips he bringeth (brings) evil to pass.

31 The hoary (grayish white) head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth (rules) his spirit than he that taketh (takes) a city.

33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord (but its every decision is from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) ).

Proverbs 17

Background music:-

17 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith (Better is a dry morsel [of food served] with quietness and peace), than an (a) house full of sacrifices with strife (conflict).

A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth (causes) shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren (brothers).

The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace (boiler heater) for gold: but the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) trieth (tries, tests) the hearts.

A wicked doer giveth heed (pays attention) to false lips; and a liar giveth (gives) ear to a naughty tongue.

Whoso mocketh (mocks) the poor reproacheth (reproaches / dishonor / disgraces) his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities (disasters) shall not be unpunished.

Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

Excellent speech becometh (becomes) not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath (has) it: whithersoever it turneth (turns), it prospereth (prospers).

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love (He that covers a sin seeks love); but he that repeateth (repeats) a matter separateth (separates) very friends.

10 A reproof entereth (enters) more into a wise man than an (a) hundred stripes into a fool.

11 An evil man seeketh (seeks) only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps (cubs) meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly (foolishness).

13 Whoso rewardeth (rewards) evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

14 The beginning of strife is as when one letteth (lets) out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

15 He that justifieth (justifies) the wicked, and he that condemneth the just (condemns the righteous), even they both are abomination (disgusting) to the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

16 Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath (has) no heart to it?

17 A friend loveth (loves) at all times, and a brother is born for adversity (hardship).

18 A man void of understanding striketh (strikes) hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend.

19 He loveth transgression that loveth (He loves sin that loves) strife: and he that exalteth (exalts) his gate seeketh (seeks) destruction.

20 He that hath (has) a froward heart findeth (finds) no good: and he that hath (has) a perverse tongue falleth (falls) into mischief (evil).

21 He that begetteth (begets) a fool doeth (does) it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath (has) no joy.

22 A merry heart doeth (does) good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth (dries) the bones.

23 A wicked man taketh (takes) a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.

24 Wisdom is before him that hath (has) understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.

25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.

26 Also to punish the just (righteous) is not good, nor to strike princes for equity (nor to strike the noble for their uprightness).

27 He that hath (has) knowledge spareth (spares) his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace (keeps silent), is counted wise: and he that shutteth (shuts) his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

Background music:-

18 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh (seeks) and intermeddleth (intermeddles / intrudes / imposes) with all wisdom.

A fool hath (has) no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

When the wicked cometh (comes), then cometh (comes) also contempt (hate), and with ignominy reproach (outer shame / scorn).

The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook (stream).

It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth (calls) for strokes.

A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare (trap) of his soul.

The words of a talebearer (gossiper) are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

He also that is slothful (lazy) in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

10 The name of the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is a strong tower: the righteous runneth (runs) into it, and is safe.

11 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit (pride / arrogance).

12 Before destruction (wreckage / ruin) the heart of man is haughty (pride), and before honour is humility (meekness / humbleness).

13 He that answereth (answers) a matter before he heareth (hears) it, it is folly (foolishness) and shame unto him.

14 The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear (The spirit of a man sustains him in sickness, but as for a broken spirit, who can bear it)?

15 The heart of the prudent getteth (careful / wise gets) knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh (seeks) knowledge.

16 A man’s gift maketh (makes) room for him, and bringeth (brings) him before great men.

17 He that is first in his own cause seemeth just (seems fair); but his neighbour cometh (comes) and searcheth (searches) him.

18 The lot causeth (causes) contentions (disagreements) to cease, and parteth (parts) between the mighty.

19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions (disagreements) are like the bars of a castle.

20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

22 Whoso findeth (finds) a wife findeth (finds) a good thing, and obtaineth (obtains) favour of the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

23 The poor useth intreaties (The poor man pleads); but the rich answereth (answers) roughly.

24 A man that hath (has) friends must shew (show) himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh (sticks) closer than a brother.
