Pressing Toward the Goal (continuation)

4 Therefore, my brethren (fellow believers) dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord (Aḏon), my dearly beloved.

Words of Encouragement

I beseech (urge) Euodias (Euodia), and beseech (urge) Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord (Aḏon).

And I intreat thee (ask you) also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers (fellow labourers), whose names are in the book of life.

Rejoice in the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand (The Aḏon is near).

Be careful for nothing (Don’t worry about anything); but in every thing by prayer and supplication (prayer request) with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God (Aluahim).

And the peace of God (Aluahim), which passeth (passes) all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha).

Finally, brethren (fellow believers), whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Those things, which ye (you) have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God (Aluahim) of peace shall be with you.

Paul’s Thanks for Their Gifts

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath (has) flourished again; wherein ye (you) were also careful, but ye (you) lacked opportunity.

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased (humbled), and I know how to abound (to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity): every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ (Mashiach) which strengtheneth (who strengthens) me.

14 Notwithstanding ye (you) have well done, that ye (you) did communicate with my affliction (difficulties).

15 Now ye (you) Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye (you) only.

16 For even in Thessalonica ye (you) sent once and again unto my necessity.

17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell (they are the fragrant aroma of an offering), a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God (Aluahim).

19 But my God (Aluahim) shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha).

20 Now unto God (Aluahim) and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Paul’s Final Greetings

21 Salute every saint (Greet every believer) in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha). The brethren which (fellow believers who) are with me greet you.

22 All the saints salute (believers greet) you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.

23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (Aḏon Yahusha Ha’Mashiach) be with you all. Amen.

Judah’s Worthless Treaty with Egypt

30 Woe (Great sorrow) to the rebellious (stubborn) children, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

(NOTE: Pharaoh (noun) = The supreme ruler of ancient Egypt; a formal address for the sovereign seat of power as personified by the ‘king’ in an institutional role of Horus son of Osiris; often used by metonymy for Ancient Egyptian sovereignty)

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

The burden of the beasts (animals) of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence (where) come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent (snake), they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses (donkeys), and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

A Warning for Rebellious Judah

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah):

10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

(AMP Bible: 10 Who say to the seers, “You must not see visions from God”; And to the prophets, “You must not prophesy to us what is right! Speak to us pleasant things and smooth words, Prophesy [deceitful] illusions [that we will enjoy].

11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy (Qadosh) One of Israel (Yisrael) to cease (stop) from before us.

12 Wherefore thus saith (says) the Holy (Qadosh) One of Israel (Yisrael), Because ye (you) despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

13 Therefore this iniquity (sin) shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

15 For thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) God (Aluahim), the Holy (Qadosh) One of Israel (Yisrael); In returning and rest shall ye (you) be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye (you) would not.

16 But ye (you) said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye (you) flee: and, We will ride upon the swift (quickly); therefore shall they that pursue you be swift (quick).

17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye (you) flee: till ye (you) be left as a beacon (flag) upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign (a flag) on an hill.

Blessings for the LORD’S People

18 And therefore will the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God (Adonai is Aluahim) of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

19 For the people shall dwell in Zion (live in Tsiyon) at Jerusalem (Yerushalayim): thou shalt (you shall) weep no more: he (He) will be very gracious unto thee (you) at the voice of thy (your) cry; when he (He) shall hear it, he (He) will answer thee (you).

20 And though the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy (your) teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine (your) eyes shall see thy (your) teachers:

21 And thine (your) ears shall hear a word behind thee (you), saying, This is the way, walk ye (you) in it, when ye (you) turn to the right hand, and when ye (you) turn to the left.

22 Ye (You) shall defile also the covering of thy (your) graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy (your) molten images of gold: thou shalt (you shall) cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt (you shall) say unto it, Get thee hence (and will say to them, “Be gone!).

23 Then shall he give the rain of thy (your) seed, that thou shalt (you shall) sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy (your) cattle feed in large pastures.

24 The oxen likewise and the young asses (donkeys) that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath (has) been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

(NOTE: winnow (verb) = to separate grain from chaff by wind or air, or to examine and select the best elements)

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) bindeth (binds) up the breach of his people, and healeth (heals) the stroke of their wound.

27 Behold, the name of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) cometh (comes) from far, burning with his (His) anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his (His) lips are full of indignation (resentment), and his tongue as a devouring fire:

28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

29 Ye (You) shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth (goes) with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), to the mighty One of Israel (Yisrael).

30 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall cause his (His) glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew (show) the lighting down of his (His) arm, with the indignation (resentment) of his (His) anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

31 For through the voice of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote (struck) with a rod.

32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he (He) fight with it.

33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea (yes), for the king it is prepared; he hath (has) made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle (does flame) it.

The Futility of Relying on Egypt

31 Woe (Great sorrow) to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy (Qadosh) One of Israel (Yisrael), neither seek the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah)!

Yet he (He) also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his (His) words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity (wickedness).

Now the Egyptians are men, and not God (Aluahim); and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall stretch out his (His) hand, both he that helpeth (helps) shall fall, and he that is holpen (helped) shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

For thus hath (has) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion (Mount Tsiyon), and for the hill thereof.

As birds flying, so will the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of hosts defend Jerusalem (Yerushalayim); defending also he (He) will deliver it; and passing over he (He) will preserve it.

Turn ye (you) unto him from whom the children of Israel (Yisrael) have deeply revolted (fallen away).

For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.

And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign ([sight of the battle] standard), saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), whose fire is in Zion (Tsiyon), and his furnace in Jerusalem (Yerushalayim).

THE PROPER HEBREW NAME OF THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR

Isaiah 52:6 King James Version (KJV)
“Therefore MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth (He who does) speak: behold, it is I.”

The word ‘God’ is a noun. It is not God’s actual name.

EXAMPLE: “He is my father. He drives me to school every morning. His name is Johnny Lim.”

EXPLAINED: The word ‘father’ here is a noun. It is not the actual / proper name. ‘Johnny Lim’ is the actual / proper name.

QUESTION: What is God’s actual / proper name?

ANSWER: God’s actual name is as follows:-

YHWH meaning in the Bible

(NOTE: YHWH (proper noun) = 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 the proper name of the God of Israel. יְהוָֹה (H3068)  in tetragrammaton: יְהוָֹה (H3068) יְ (yod) ה (he) וָֹ (uau / waw) ה (he)

In Hebrew text:-
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH in Ancient Hebrew alphabets)
          OR
יהוה (YHWH in Modern Hebrew alphabets without Niqqud / Nikud / Hebrew Vowels)
          OR
יַהְוֶה (YHWH in Modern Hebrew alphabets with Niqqud / Nikud / Hebrew Vowels)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Hebrew text is read from LEFT to RIGHT:-

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach (Hebrew) = Messiah (English) / Anointed One (the Savior who saves the sinners for those who believe in Him)

FULL NAME in Hebrew text with ‘The’: יְהוֹשׁעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahusha Ha-Mashiach = Yahusha The Anointed One.

Christos > Χριστός (Greek) transliterated into Christ (English) which means Anointed One

NOTES:-

1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-

Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-

Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God  / Yah saves.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original ancient Hebrew text spelling and pronunciation.

Yah יָהּ (H3050), + וָֹ (u) + שַׁ Sh + ע A = Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) which means Yahuah (God) saves (H3091). See the diagram below:-

(NOTE: Hebrew text is read from left to right)

יְהוֹשׁעַ (H3091 = God / Yahuah saves)
