Greetings from Paul
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ (Yahusha ha’Mashiach) by the will of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha),
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) the Father and Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha) our Lord (Aḏon).
Encouragement to Be Faithful
3 I thank God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee (you) in my prayers night and day;
4 Greatly desiring to see thee (you), being mindful of thy (your) tears, that I may be filled with joy;
5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee (you), which dwelt (lived) first in thy (your) grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee (you) also.
6 Wherefore I put thee (you) in remembrance that thou (you) stir up the gift of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), which is in thee (you) by the putting on of my hands.
7 For God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8 Be not thou (you) therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) (but with me take your share of suffering for the gospel [continue to preach regardless of the circumstances]);
9 Who hath (has) saved us, and called us with an (a) holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha) before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ (Yahusha ha’Mashiach), who hath (has) abolished death, and hath (has) brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
(NOTE: Gentiles (noun / adjective) = those who are not of Jewish descent or who do not believe in God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); heathen, pagan)
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day (that He is able to guard that which I have entrusted to Him until that day [when I stand before Him]).
13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast (you have) heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha).
14 That good thing which was committed unto thee (you) keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth (the Holy Spirit who lives) in us.
15 This thou knowest (You are aware of ), that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
16 The Lord (Aḏon) give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
17 But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.
18 The Lord (Aḏon) grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord (Aḏon) in that day (Day): and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus (Ephesos), thou knowest (you know) very well.

Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu) Questions the LORD’S (YAHUAH’S) Justice
12 Righteous art thou (are You), O Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when I plead with thee (You): yet let me talk with thee (you) of thy (your) judgments: Wherefore doth (Why does) the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore (Why) are all they happy that deal very treacherously (deceitfully / dishonestly)?
2 Thou hast (You have) planted them, yea (yes), they have taken root: they grow, yea (yes), they bring forth fruit: thou art (You are) near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
3 But thou (You), O Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), knowest (know) me: thou hast (You have) seen me, and tried mine (test my) heart toward thee (You): pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell (live) therein? the beasts (animals) are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
The LORD’S (YAHUAH’S) Reply to Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu)
5 If thou hast (you have) run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee (you), then how canst thou contend (then how can you compete) with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst (you trust), they wearied thee (you), then how wilt thou (will you) do in the swelling of Jordan?
6 For even thy brethren (your brothers), and the house of thy (your) father, even they have dealt treacherously (deceitfully / dishonestly) with thee (you); yea (yes), they have called a multitude after thee (you): believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee (you).
7 I have forsaken mine (My) house, I have left mine (My) heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
8 Mine (My) heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth (cries) out against me: therefore have I hated it.
9 Mine (My) heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye (you), assemble (gather) all the beasts (animals) of the field, come to devour.
10 Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth (mourns) unto me (Me); the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth (lays) it to heart.
12 The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
13 They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
A Message for Israel’s (Yisrael’s) Neighbours
14 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) against all (My) evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my (My) people Israel (Yisrael) to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
15 And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my (My) people, to swear by my (My) name, The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) liveth (lives); as they taught my (My) people to swear by Baal (Satan); then shall they be built in the midst of my (My) people.
(NOTE: Baal / Ba’al (proper noun) = בַּעַלa (Hebrew 1167) = Lord, master, owner, husband, a proper noun referring to a Canaanite deity. This Canaanite-Phoenician idol [opposite of the One True Almighty Creator / Elohim / 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah] which looks like a cow with two horns and is associated with or equivalent Satan / Devil or His demons). An association in opposition of the One True Almighty Creator / Elohim / 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah: Satan = שָׁלוֹם (Hebrew 7854) / Lucifer (Hebrew 1966; הֵילֵל Helel – Word origin: Halal) [before he was casted out from heaven] / Baphomet / Devil / Diablo [in Spanish] / Father of Lies / serpent / the enemy / Prince of the Air / Fallen Angel / morning star / shining one / Dragon / Beast / Roaring lion / The Accuser / Murderer / Beelzebub / Belial / Baalim / Antichrist and etc.)
17 But if they will not obey, I will utterly (completely) pluck up and destroy that nation, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

Jeremiah’s Linen Girdle
13 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) unto me, Go and get thee (you) a linen girdle (waistband), and put it upon thy (your) loins, and put it not in water.
2 So I got a girdle (waistband) according to the word of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and put it on my loins.
3 And the word of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me the second time, saying,
4 Take the girdle (waistband) that thou hast (you have), which is upon thy (your) loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
5 So I went, and hid it by Euphrates, as the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) commanded me.
6 And it came to pass after many days, that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto me, Arise, go to Euphrates, and take the girdle (waistband) from thence (there), which I commanded thee (you) to hide there.
7 Then I went to Euphrates, and digged (dug), and took the girdle (waistband) from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred (the waistband was decayed and ruined), it was profitable for nothing.
8 Then the word of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,
9 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), After this manner will I mar (ruin) the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle (waistband), which is good for nothing.
11 For as the girdle (waistband) cleaveth (cleaves) to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel (Yisrael) and the whole house of Judah, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
12 Therefore thou shalt (you shall) speak unto them this word; Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of Israel (Yisrael), Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee (you), Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?
13 Then shalt thou (you) say unto them, Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
A Warning against Pride
15 Hear ye (you), and give ear; be not proud: for the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) spoken.
16 Give glory to the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) your God (Adonai Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye (you) look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
17 But if ye (you) will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine ye (you) shall weep sore (bitterly), and run down with tears, because the Lord’s (Yahuah’s) flock is carried away captive.
18 Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
19 The cities of the south shall be shut up, and none shall open them: Judah shall be carried away captive all of it, it shall be wholly carried away captive.
20 Lift up your eyes, and behold them that come from the north: where is the flock that was given thee (you), thy (your) beautiful flock?
21 What wilt thou say when he shall punish thee (you)? for thou hast (you have) taught them to be captains, and as chief over thee (you): shall not sorrows take thee (you), as a woman in travail (labor)?
22 And if thou (you) say in thine (your) heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity (your sin) are thy (your) skirts discovered, and thy (your) heels made bare.
23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye (you) also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
24 Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth (passes) away by the wind of the wilderness.
25 This is thy (your) lot, the portion of thy (your) measures from me, saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); because thou hast (you have) forgotten me (Me), and trusted in falsehood.
26 Therefore will I discover thy (your) skirts upon thy (your) face, that thy (your) shame may appear.
27 I have seen thine (your) adulteries, and thy (your) neighings, the lewdness of thy (your) whoredom, and thine (your) abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee (Great sorrow to you), O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?

Judah’s Terrible Drought
14 The word of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) that came to Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu) concerning the dearth.
2 Judah mourneth (mourns), and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
3 And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, and found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded (humiliated), and covered their heads.
4 Because the ground is chapt (cracked), for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.
5 Yea (Yes), the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it, because there was no grass.
6 And the wild asses (donkeys) did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.
7 O Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), though our iniquities (sins) testify against us, do thou it for thy (your) name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee (You).
8 O the hope of Israel (Yisrael), the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth (who turns) aside to tarry for a night?
9 Why shouldest thou (should you) be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou (You), O Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), art (are) in the midst of us, and we are called by thy (Your) name; leave us not.
10 Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) doth (does) not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
The LORD Forbids Jeremiah to Intercede
11 Then said the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) unto me, Pray not for this people for their good.
12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
13 Then said I, Ah, Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) God (Adonai Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah)! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye (You) shall not see the sword, neither shall ye (you) have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
14 Then the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my (My) name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto (spoke to) them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought (nothing), and the deceit of their heart.
15 Therefore thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) concerning the prophets that prophesy in my (My) name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.
16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
17 Therefore [Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu)] thou shalt (you shall) say this word unto them; Let mine (my) eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease: for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.
18 If I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea (yes), both the prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know not.
A Prayer for Healing
19 Hast thou utterly (Have You completely) rejected Judah? hath (has) thy (your) soul lothed Zion (hated Tsiyon)? why hast thou smitten (Why have You stricken) us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!
20 We acknowledge, O Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), our wickedness, and the iniquity (sin) of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee (You).
21 Do not abhor us, for thy (Your) name’s sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy (Your) glory: remember, break not thy (Your) covenant with us.
22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he (Are You not He), O Lord (Adonai) our God (Adonai Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah)? therefore we will wait upon thee (You): for thou hast (You have) made all these things.

WARNING from God (Yahuah) Himself: The Word of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) warned that if we do not have His word abiding (remaining) in us, then we are NOT believers (saved)! WAKE UP PEOPLE! Read John 5:38:-
John 5:38 King James Version (KJV)
And ye (you) have not his word (His Word) abiding (remaining) in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye (Him you) believe not.
1 John 5:2 King James Version (KJV)
By this we know that we love the children of God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when we love God, and keep his (His) commandments.
James 1:22 King James Version (KJV)
But be ye (you) doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth (sows / puts in / plants / spreads), that shall he also reap (harvest / attain / get).
Galatians 6:3 King James Version (KJV)
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth (deceives, is deceiving) himself.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Colossians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).
1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”
Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Matthew 10:8 King James Version (KJV)
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye (you) have received, freely give.
John 3:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Jesus (Yahusha) answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly (seriously) say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God (Yahuah).”
John 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16 For God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) so loved the world, that he gave his (that He gave His) only begotten Son [Yahusha ha’Mashiach], that whosoever believeth in him (believes in Him) should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life.
17 For God (Elohim; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Lord]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Yahusha ha’Mashiach).
Acts 4:12 King James Version (KJV)
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
