A Call to Holy Living (continuation)

2 Wherefore laying aside all malice (ill will), and all guile (cunningness), and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings (slander [and] hateful speech),

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word (Word), that ye (you) may grow thereby:

If so be ye (you) have tasted that the Lord (Aḏon) is gracious.

Living Stones for God’s House

To whom coming, as unto a living stone (Living Stone; the Messiah), disallowed indeed of (rejected by) men, but chosen of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and precious,

Ye (You) also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an (a) holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) by Jesus Christ (Yahusha ha’Mashiach).

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect (chosen), precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded (and he who believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will never be confused / disappointed [in his expectations]).

Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed (the Stone which men rejected and threw away), the same is made the head of the corner (cornerstone),

And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word (Word), being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

But ye (you) are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye (you) should shew forth the praises of him who hath (has) called you out of darkness into his (His) marvellous light;

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech (urge) you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts (abstain from the sensual urges [those dishonorable desires] that wage war against the soul), which war against the soul;

12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) in the day of visitation.

Respecting People in Authority

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake (because of the Aḏon): whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

15 For so is the will of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that with well doing ye (you) may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness (but do not use your freedom as a cover or pretext for evil), but as the servants of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah). Honour the king.

Servants

18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward (to those who are unreasonable).

19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) endure grief, suffering wrongfully.

20 For what glory is it, if, when ye (you) be buffeted for your faults, ye (you) shall take it patiently? but if, when ye (you) do well, and suffer for it, ye (you) take it patiently, this is acceptable with God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

21 For even hereunto were ye (you) called: because Christ (Mashiach) also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye (you) should follow his (His) steps:

22 Who did no sin, neither was guile (deceit) found in his (His) mouth:

23 Who, when he was reviled (Who, when He was insulted, criticized), reviled (insulted, criticized) not again; when he (He) suffered, he (He) threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously (but kept entrusting Himself to Him (Yahuah) who judges fairly):

24 Who his (His) own self bare (carried) our sins in his (His) own body on the tree (cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye (you) were healed.

25 For ye (you) were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The Sign of the Cooking Pot

24 Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

Son of man, write thee (you) the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.

And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:

Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.

Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.

Wherefore thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Woe (Great sorrow) to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.

For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;

That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.

Therefore thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Woe (Great sorrow) to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.

10 Heap on wood, kindle (flame) the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.

11 Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass (bronze) of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten (melted) in it, that the scum (rust) of it may be consumed.

12 She hath (has) wearied herself with lies, and her great scum (thick rust / filth) went not forth out of her: her scum (rust / filth) shall be in the fire (consumed / destroyed).

13 In thy (your) filthiness is lewdness (indecency, obscenity): because I have purged thee (cleansed you), and thou wast not purged (and you were not cleansed), thou shalt not be purged (you shall not be cleansed) from thy (your) filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee (you).

14 I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy (your) ways, and according to thy (your) doings, shall they judge thee (you), saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

The Death of Ezekiel’s Wife

15 Also the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee (you) the desire of thine (your) eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou (shall you) mourn nor weep, neither shall thy (your) tears run down.

17 Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine (your) head upon thee (you), and put on thy (your) shoes upon thy (your) feet, and cover not thy (your) lips, and eat not the bread of men.

18 So I spake unto (spoke to) the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.

19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou (Will you) not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest (you do) so?

20 Then I answered them, The word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency (pride) of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth (pities); and your sons and your daughters whom ye (you) have left shall fall by the sword.

22 And ye (you) shall do as I have done: ye (you) shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.

23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye (you) shall not mourn nor weep; but ye (you) shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

24 Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath (has) done shall ye (you) do: and when this cometh, ye (you) shall know that I am the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

25 Also, thou (you) son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,

26 That he that escapeth (escapes) in that day shall come unto thee (you), to cause thee (you) to hear it with thine (your) ears?

27 In that day shall thy (your) mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt (you shall) speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt (you shall) be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

A Message for Ammon

25 The word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came again unto me, saying,

Son of man, set thy (your) face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Because thou saidst (you said), Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned (disrespected); and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

Behold, therefore I will deliver thee (you) to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee (you), and make their dwellings in thee (you): they shall eat thy (your) fruit, and they shall drink thy (your) milk.

And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and ye (you) shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

For thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Because thou hast clapped thine (your) hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy (your) despite against the land of Israel;

Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine (My) hand upon thee (you), and will deliver thee (you) for a spoil (plunder / stolen goods) to the heathen; and I will cut thee (you) off from the people, and I will cause thee (you) to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee (you); and thou shalt (you shall) know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

(NOTE: heathen (noun) = An old-fashioned and offensive word for someone who has no religion, or belongs to a religion that is not Christianity, Judaism, or Islam)

A Message for Moab

Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,

10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

A Message for Edom

12 Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Because that Edom hath (has) dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath (has) greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

13 Therefore thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); I will also stretch out mine (My) hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine (My) anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my (My) vengeance, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

A Message for Philistia

15 Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

16 Therefore thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I will stretch out mine (My) hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant (small remaining people) of the sea coast.

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

A Message for Tyrus

26 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

Son of man, because that Tyrus hath (has) said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:

Therefore thus saith the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I am against thee (you), O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee (you), as the sea causeth (causes) his waves to come up.

And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.

It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym): and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain (killed) by the sword; and they shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

For thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

He shall slay (kill) with the sword thy (your) daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee (you), and cast a mount against thee (you), and lift up the buckler against thee (you).

And he shall set engines of war against thy (your) walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy (your) towers.

10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee (you): thy (your) walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.

11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy (your) streets: he shall slay thy (kill your) people by the sword, and thy (your) strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.

12 And they shall make a spoil of thy (your) riches, and make a prey of thy (your) merchandise: and they shall break down thy (your) walls, and destroy thy (your) pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy (your) stones and thy (your) timber and thy (your) dust in the midst of the water.

13 And I will cause the noise of thy (your) songs to cease (stop); and the sound of thy (your) harps shall be no more heard.

14 And I will make thee (you) like the top of a rock: thou shalt (you shall) be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt (you shall) be built no more: for I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) have spoken it, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

The Effect of Tyrus’ Destruction

15 Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym) to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy (your) fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee (you)?

16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee (you).

17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee (you), and say to thee (you), How art thou (How you are) destroyed, that wast (were) inhabited of seafaring (sea travelers) men, the renowned city, which wast (were) strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!

18 Now shall the isles (islands) tremble in the day of thy (your) fall; yea (yes), the isles (islands) that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy (your) departure.

19 For thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); When I shall make thee (you) a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee (you), and great waters shall cover thee (you);

20 When I shall bring thee (you) down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee (you) in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate (deserted) of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou (you) be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;

21 I will make thee (you) a terror, and thou shalt (you shall) be no more: though thou (you) be sought for, yet shalt thou (shall you) never be found again, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

DIFFERENT SPELLING VERSIONS OF THE MESSIAH:-

Here are the explanations:-

1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-

Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3442) means He will save. It is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) = God saves. EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

QUESTION: Does anyone like their name to be shortened? ANSWER: No.

QUESTION: Were our names shortened in any legal documents? ANSWER: No.

2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-

Yehoshooah / Yehushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (with the niqqud as a pronunciation guide) means God saves.

QUESTION: If the Messiah came in the name of His Father (Yah) as in John 5:43, will it make sense that the Messiah’s name be “Yehoshooah” / “Yehushua” / “Yehusha”? ANSWER: No.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua יהושוע (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (without the niqqud) depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) as in John 5:43 means God saves.

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יהושע) as spelled in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original ancient Hebrew text spelling and pronunciation.

Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad / Yod) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יְה = the Creator), + ו (u = Uau) + ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin).

And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?

Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold, a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?

Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

17 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuahsent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.
