Moses Recalls Elohim’s Covenant

5 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes (written laws) and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye (you) may learn them, and keep, and do them.

2 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim made a covenant (an agreement) with us in Horeb.

3 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

4 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

(I stood between 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah and you at that time, to shew (show) you the word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah: for ye (you) were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

Israel Reminded of Commandments

I am 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

Thou shalt (You shall) have none other gods before me.

8 Thou shalt (You shall) not make thee (you) any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 Thou shalt (You shall) not bow down thyself (yourself) unto them, nor serve them: for I 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim am a jealous El, visiting the iniquity (sin) of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me (Me),

10 And shewing (showing) mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

11 Thou shalt (You shall) not take the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim in vain: for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah will not hold him guiltless that taketh (takes) his (His) name in vain.

12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) commanded thee (you).

13 Six days thou shalt (you shall) labour, and do all thy (your) work:

14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of Adonai thy (your) Elohim: in it thou shalt (you shall) not do any work, thou (you), nor thy (your) son, nor thy (your) daughter, nor thy (your) manservant, nor thy (your) maidservant, nor thine (your) ox, nor thine ass (your donkey), nor any of thy (your) cattle, nor thy (your) stranger that is within thy (your) gates; that thy (your) manservant and thy (your) maidservant may rest as well as thou (you).

15 And remember that thou wast (you were) a servant in the land of Egypt, and that Adonai thy (your) Elohim brought thee (you) out thence (there) through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim commanded thee (you) to keep the sabbath day.

16 Honour thy (your) father and thy (your) mother, as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) commanded thee (you); that thy (your) days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee (you), in the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim giveth thee (gives you).

17 Thou shalt (You shall) not kill.

18 Neither shalt thou (shall you) commit adultery.

19 Neither shalt thou (shall you) steal.

20 Neither shalt thou (shall you) bear false witness against thy (your) neighbour.

21 Neither shalt thou (shall you) desire thy (your) neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou (shall you) covet thy (your) neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy (your) neighbour’s.

Israel Fears Elohim’s Glory

22 These words 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah spake unto (spoke to) all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables (tablets) of stone, and delivered them unto me.

23 And it came to pass, when ye (you) heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye (you) came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

24 And ye (you) said, Behold (See), 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim hath shewed (has shown) us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that Elohim doth (does) talk with man, and he liveth (lives).

25 Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume (destroy) us: if we hear the voice of Adonai our Elohim any more, then we shall die.

26 For who is there of all flesh, that hath (has) heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

27 Go thou (you) near, and hear all that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim shall say: and speak thou unto (you to) us all that the Adonai our Elohim shall speak unto thee (you); and we will hear it, and do it.

Elohim Will Use Moses to Teach Israel

28 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah heard the voice of your words, when ye (you) spake unto (spoke to) me; and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee (you): they have well said all that they have spoken.

29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

30 Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

31 But as for thee (you), stand thou (you) here by me, and I will speak unto thee (you) all the commandments, and the statutes (written laws), and the judgments, which thou shalt (you shall) teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

32 Ye (You) shall observe to do therefore as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) commanded you: ye (you) shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

33 Ye (You) shall walk in all the ways which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) commanded you, that ye (you) may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye (you) may prolong your days in the land which ye (you) shall possess.

Israel to Keep Elohim’s Commandments

6 Now these are the commandments, the statutes (written laws), and the judgments, which Adonai your Elohim commanded to teach you, that ye (you) might do them in the land whither ye (you) go to possess it:

That thou mightest (you might) fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, to keep all his statutes (His written laws) and his (His) commandments, which I command thee (you), thou (you), and thy (your) son, and thy (your) son’s son, all the days of thy (your) life; and that thy (your) days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee (you), and that ye (you) may increase mightily, as Adonai Elohim of thy (your) fathers hath (has) promised thee (you), in the land that floweth (flows) with milk and honey.

Hear, O Israel: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim is one Adonai:

And thou shalt (you shall) love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim with all thine (your) heart, and with all thy (your) soul, and with all thy (your) might.

And these words, which I command thee (you) this day, shall be in thine (your) heart:

And thou shalt (you shall) teach them diligently unto thy (your) children, and shalt (shall) talk of them when thou sittest in thine (you sit in your) house, and when

 (you walk) by the way, and when thou liest (you lie) down, and when thou risest (you rise) up.

And thou shalt (you shall) bind them for a sign upon thine (your) hand, and they shall be as frontlets (forehead) between thine (your) eyes.

And thou shalt (you shall) write them upon the posts of thy (your) house, and on thy (your) gates.

Israel to Serve the ADONAI

10 And it shall be, when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall have brought thee (you) into the land which he sware unto (swore to) thy (your) fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee (you) great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst (you build) not,

11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst (you filled) not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst (you dug) not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst (you planted) not; when thou shalt (you shall) have eaten and be full;

12 Then beware lest thou (you) forget 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, which brought thee (you) forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

13 Thou shalt (You shall) fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, and serve him, and shalt (shall) swear by his name.

14 Ye (You) shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;

15 (For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim is a jealous Elohim among you) lest the anger of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim be kindled (flaming) against thee (you), and destroy thee (you) from off the face of the earth.

16 Ye (You) shall not tempt 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, as ye (you) tempted him (Him) in Massah.

17 Ye (You) shall diligently keep the commandments of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, and his (His) testimonies, and his statutes (His written laws), which he hath (has) commanded thee (you).

18 And thou shalt (you shall) do that which is right and good in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah: that it may be well with thee (you), and that thou mayest (you may) go in and possess the good land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah sware unto thy (swore to your) fathers.

19 To cast out all thine (your) enemies from before thee, as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) spoken.

Teach Children About Deliverance

20 And when thy (your) son asketh thee (ask you) in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes (written laws), and the judgments, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim hath (has) commanded you?

21 Then thou shalt (you shall) say unto thy (your) son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:

22 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah shewed (showed) signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:

23 And he (He) brought us out from thence (there), that he (He) might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto (He swore to) our fathers.

24 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah commanded us to do all these statutes (written laws), to fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim, for our good always, that he (He) might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.

25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim, as he hath (He has) commanded us.

Israel to Destroy the Canaanites

7 When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall bring thee (you) into the land whither thou goest (you go) to possess it, and hath cast (has thrown) out many nations before thee (you), the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou (you);

And Adonai your Elohim shall deliver them before thee (and when Adonai your Elohim gives them over to you and you defeat them); thou shalt smite (you shall strike) them, and utterly (completely) destroy them; thou shalt (you shall) make no covenant with them, nor shew (show) mercy unto them:

Neither shalt thou (shall you) make marriages with them; thy (your) daughter thou shalt (you shall) not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou (shall you) take unto thy (your) son.

For they will turn away thy (your) son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah be kindled (flaming) against you, and destroy thee (you) suddenly.

But thus shall ye (you) deal with them; ye (you) shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

Elohim has Chosen Israel

For thou art an (For you are) holy people unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) chosen thee (you) to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye (you) were more in number than any people; for ye (you) were the fewest (few) of all people:

But because 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath (has) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Know therefore that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, he is Elohim, the faithful Elohim, which keepeth (who keeps) covenant and mercy with them that love him (Him) and keep his (His) commandments to a thousand generations;

10 And repayeth (repays) them that hate him (Him) to their face, to destroy them: he (He) will not be slack to him that hateth him (who hates Him), he (He) will repay him to his face.

11 Thou shalt (you shall) therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee (you) this day, to do them.

Elohim will Honor His Covenant

12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken (you pay attention) to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall keep unto thee (you) the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy (he swore to your) fathers:

13 And he will love thee (you), and bless thee (you), and multiply thee (you): he will also bless the fruit of thy (your) womb, and the fruit of thy (your) land, thy (your) corn, and thy (your) wine, and thine (your) oil, the increase of thy kine (your cow), and the flocks of thy (your) sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy (swore to your) fathers to give thee (you).

14 Thou shalt (You shall) be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren (childless, infertile) among you, or among your cattle.

15 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah will take away from thee (your) all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest (you know), upon thee (you); but will lay them upon all them that hate thee (you).

16 And thou shalt (you shall) consume all the people which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall deliver thee (you); thine (your) eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou (shall you) serve their gods; for that will be a snare (trap) unto thee (you).

17 If thou shalt (you shall) say in thine (your) heart, These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess (evict) them?

18 Thou shalt not (You shall not) be afraid of them: but shalt (shall) well remember what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt;

19 The great temptations which thine (your) eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim brought thee (you) out: so shall 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim do unto all the people of whom thou art (you are) afraid.

20 Moreover 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee (you), be destroyed.

21 Thou shalt (You shall) not be affrighted at (not fear) them: for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim is among you, a mighty Elohim and terrible (great).

Elohim will Conquer Nations

22 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim will put out those nations before thee (you) by little and little: thou mayest (you may) not consume them at once, lest the beasts (animals) of the field increase upon thee (you).

23 But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall deliver them unto thee (you), and shall destroy them with a mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.

24 And he shall deliver their kings into thine (your) hand, and thou shalt (you shall) destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee (you), until thou (you) have destroyed them.

25 The graven images of their gods shall ye (you) burn with fire: thou shalt (you shall) not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee (you), lest thou be snared therin (so that you will not be ensnared by it [in a deadly trap]): for it is an abomination (repulsive) to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim.

26 Neither shalt thou (shall you) bring an abomination into thine (your) house, lest thou (you) be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it (you shall completely hate it), and thou shalt utterly abhor it (you shall hate it completely) ; for it is a cursed thing.

(AMP BIBLE: 1 Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].)

For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.

(AMP BIBLE: 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you.)

And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?

Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold, a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?

Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

John 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH Yahuah so loved the world, that he gave his (that He gave His) only begotten Son [Yahusha ha’Mashiach], that whosoever believeth in him (believes in Him) should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life.

17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH Yahuah sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].
