Yahusha Foretells the Future

13 And as he (He) went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto (said to) him (Him), Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!

(NOTE: temple (noun) = מִקְדָּשׁ (H4720 in Hebrew, miqdash or miqqedash) means sanctuary / a consecrated thing or place)

And Yahusha answering said unto him, Seest thou (Do you see) these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And as he (He) sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him (Him) privately,

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

And Yahusha answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you (Take heed that no one deceives you):

For many shall come in my (My) name, saying, I am Mashiach; and shall deceive many.

And when ye (you) shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye (you) not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye (you) shall be beaten: and ye (you) shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations (preached to all the [Gentile] nations).

11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye (you) shall speak, neither do ye (you) premeditate (think beforehand): but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye (you): for it is not ye (you) that speak, but the Holy Ghost (Ruach ha’Qodesh / Spirit of YHUH).

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

13 And ye (you) shall be hated of all men for my (My) name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 But when ye (you) shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth (reads) understand,) then let them that be in Judaea (Judea) flee to the mountains:

15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment (clothing).

17 But woe (But great sorrow) to them that are with child, and to them that give suck (are nursing babies) in those days!

18 And pray ye (you) that your flight (making escape perilous) be not in the winter.

19 For in those days shall be affliction (sufferings), such as was not from the beginning of the creation which Elohim / Aluahym created unto this time, neither shall be.

20 And except that the Adon had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath (He has) chosen, he hath (He has) shortened the days.

Certain Abomination of Worship

17 Thou shalt not (You shall not) sacrifice unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim any bullock (bull), or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness (evil thing): for that is an abomination unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim.

If there be found among you, within any of thy (your) gates which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you), man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness (who does evil) in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, in transgressing his covenant (His Covenant / His Agreement),

And hath (has) gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

And it be told thee (you), and thou hast (you have) heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold (look), it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought (has been done) in Israel:

Then shalt thou (shall you) bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy (your) gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt (shall) stone them with stones, till they die.

Two Witnesses Needed

At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt (shall) put the evil away from among you.

The Levites’ Judgment Shall Stand

If there arise a matter too hard for thee (you) in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy (your) gates: then shalt thou (shall you) arise, and get thee (you) up into the place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall choose;

And thou shalt (you shall) come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall shew thee (show you) the sentence of judgment:

10 And thou shalt (you shall) do according to the sentence, which they of that place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah shall choose shall shew thee (show you); and thou shalt (you shall) observe to do according to all that they inform (you):

11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee (you), and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee (you), thou shalt (you shall) do: thou shalt not (you shall not) decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee (show you), to the right hand, nor to the left.

12 And the man that will do presumptuously (arrogantly), and will not hearken unto (not listen to) the priest that standeth (stands) to minister there before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt (you shall) put away the evil from Israel.

13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

Guidelines for a King for Israel

14 When thou art come unto (When you come to) the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you), and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein (shall live in), and shalt (shall) say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;

15 Thou shalt (You shall) in any wise set him king over thee (you), whom 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou (your brothers shall you) set king over thee (you): thou mayest not (you may not) set a stranger over thee (you), which is not thy (your) brother.

16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) said unto you, Ye (You) shall henceforth (from this time on) return no more that way.

17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the (sits on the) throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah his Elohim, to keep all the words (Words) of this law (Torah) and these statutes (written law), to do them:

20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren (brothers), and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

Gifts for the Priests and Levites

18 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah made by fire, and his inheritance.

Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren (brothers): 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah is their inheritance, as he hath (has) said unto them.

And this shall be the priest’s due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

The firstfruit also of thy (your) corn, of thy (your) wine, and of thine (your) oil, and the first of the fleece of thy (your) sheep, shalt thou (shall you) give him.

For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) chosen him out of all thy (your) tribes, to stand to minister in the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, him and his sons for ever.

And if a Levite come from any of thy (your) gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah shall choose;

Then he shall minister in the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah his Elohim, as all his brethren (brothers) the Levites do, which stand there before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.

They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony (inheritance).

Israel to Avoid Pagan Practices

When thou art (you are to) come into the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you), thou shalt not (you shall not) learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh (makes) his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination (practices witchcraft), or an observer of times (soothsayer), or an enchanter (a person who uses magic or sorcery to cast spells), or a witch.

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits (medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead), or a wizard (a man who has magical powers), or a necromancer (magician).

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto (detestation to, evil to) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah: and because of these abominations 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim doth (does) drive them out from before thee (you).

13 Thou shalt (You shall) be perfect with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim.

14 For these nations, which thou shalt (you shall) possess, hearkened unto (paid attention to) observers of times (those using magic), and unto diviners: but as for thee (you), 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) not suffered thee (you) so to do (has not appointed such for you).

True and False Prophets

15 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim will raise up unto thee (you) a Prophet from the midst of thee (you), of thy brethren (your brothers), like unto me; unto him ye (unto Him you) shall hearken (pay attention);

16 According to all that thou desiredst (you desire) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah my Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

17 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren (brothers), like unto thee (to you), and will put my words (My Words) in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

19 And it shall come to pass (And it shall be), that whosoever will not hearken unto (pay attention to) my words (My Words) which he (He) shall speak in my name (My Name), I will require it of him (Him).

20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my (My) name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

21 And if thou (you) say in thine (your) heart, How shall we know the word which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh (speaks) in the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) not spoken, but the prophet hath (has) spoken it presumptuously (arrogantly / audaciously, and overconfidently): thou shalt not (you shall not) be afraid of him.

Cities of Refuge

19 When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim hath (has) cut off the nations, whose land 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you), and thou succeedest (you dispossess) them, and dwellest (live) in their cities, and in their houses;

2 Thou shalt (You shall) separate three cities for thee (you) in the midst of thy (your) land, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you) to possess it.

3 Thou shalt (You shall) prepare thee (you) a way, and divide the coasts of thy (your) land, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you) to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither (there).

Accidental Killings

And this is the case of the slayer (killer), which shall flee thither (there), that he may live: Whoso killeth (kills) his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;

As when a man goeth (goes) into the wood with his neighbour to hew (cut) wood, and his hand fetcheth (fetches) a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth (slips) from the helve (handle), and lighteth upon (and strikes) his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:

(AMP BIBLE: as [for example] when a man goes into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and his hand swings the axe to cut down the tree, but the iron head slips off the wooden handle and hits his companion and he dies—the offender may escape to one of these cities and live;)

Lest (For the fear that) the avenger (revenger) of the blood pursue the slayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and slay (kill) him; whereas he was not worthy of death, inasmuch as he hated him not in time past (since he had not hated him before).

Wherefore (Therefore) I command thee (you), saying, Thou shalt (You shall) separate three cities for thee (you).

And if 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim enlarge thy (your) coast, as he hath (has) sworn unto thy (your) fathers, and give thee (you) all the land which he promised to give unto thy (your) fathers;

If thou shalt (you shall) keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee (you) this day, to love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou (shall you) add three cities more for thee (you), beside these three:

10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy (your) land, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you) for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee (you).

Killings Punishable by Death

11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite (attacks) him mortally that he die, and fleeth (flees) into one of these cities:

12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence (from there), and deliver him into the hand of the avenger (revenger) of blood, that he may die.

13 Thine (Your) eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt (you shall) put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee (you).

14 Thou shalt not (You shall not) remove thy (your) neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine (your) inheritance, which thou shalt  (you shall) inherit in the land that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth thee (is giving you) to possess it.

Laws Regarding Witnesses

15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity (wickedness), or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth (sins): at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

16 If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong;

17 Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days;

18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition (search): and, behold (see), if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother (and he has accused his brother falsely);

19 Then shall ye (you) do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou (shall you) put the evil away from among you.

20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth (from this time on) commit no more any such evil among you.

21 And thine (your) eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].
