Jesus (Yahusha) Walks on the Sea
22 And straightway (Immediately) Jesus (Yahusha) constrained (directed) his (His) disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him (Him) unto the other side, while he (He) sent the multitudes (crowd) away.
23 And when he (He) had sent the multitudes (crowd) away, he (He) went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he (He) was there alone.
24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus (Yahusha) went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him (Him) walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake (But straightaway Yahusha spoke) unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord (Adon; Master), if it be thou (if it is you), bid me come unto thee (command me to come to you) on the water.
29 And he (He) said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus (Yahusha).
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous (violent wind), he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord (Adon; Master), save me.
31 And immediately Jesus (Yahusha) stretched forth his (out His) hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou (you) of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt (why did you doubt)?
32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased (stopped).
33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art (you are) the Son of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him (Him), they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him (Him) all that were diseased (sick);
36 And besought him (begged Him) that they might only touch the hem of his garment (clothing): and as many as touched were made perfectly whole (healed completely).

Exodus 4

Moses’ Rod
4 And Moses answered and said, But, behold (look), they will not believe me, nor hearken unto (nor listen to) my voice: for they will say, The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) hath (has) not appeared unto thee (you).
2 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto him, What is that in thine (your) hand? And he said, A rod (staff).
3 And he said, Cast it (Throw it) on the ground. And he cast it (threw it)on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
4 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand (Reach out your hand your hand), and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
5 That they may believe that the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of their fathers, the God (Elohim / Aluahym) of Abraham, the God (Elohim / Aluahym) of Isaac, and the God (Elohim / Aluahym) of Jacob, hath (has) appeared unto thee (you).
6 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom (AMP Bible: Put your hand into your robe [where it covers your chest]). And he put his hand into his bosom (chest): and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous (suffering from a contagious skin disease) as snow.
7 And he said, Put thine (your) hand into thy bosom (your chest) again. And he put his hand into his bosom (chest) again; and plucked it out of his bosom (chest), and, behold (look), it was turned again as his other flesh.
8 And it shall come to pass (And it shall happen like this), if they will not believe thee (you), neither hearken to (neither listen to) the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter (second) sign.
9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice (neither pay attention to your voice), that thou shalt (you shall) take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest (you take) out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
Moses Feels Inadequate
10 And Moses said unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), O my Lord (Adonai), I am not eloquent (fluent or persuasive in speaking), neither heretofore (before now), nor since thou hast (you have) spoken unto thy (your) servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
11 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto him, Who hath (has) made man’s mouth? or who maketh (makes) the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah)?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy (your) mouth, and teach thee (you) what thou shalt (you shall) say.
13 And he said, O my Lord (Adonai), send, I pray thee (You), by the hand of him whom thou wilt (You will) send.
(AMP Bible: 13 But he said, “Please my Lord, send the message [of rescue to Israel] by [someone else,] whomever else You will [choose].”)
Aaron Appointed Spokesman
14 And the anger of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) was kindled (set on fire) against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy (your) brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold (look), he cometh forth (is coming out) to meet thee (you): and when he seeth thee (sees you), he will be glad in his heart.
15 And thou shalt (you shall) speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy (your) mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye (you) shall do.
16 And he shall be thy (your) spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee (you) instead of a mouth, and thou shalt (you shall) be to him instead of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
17 And thou shalt (you shall) take this rod (staff) in thine (your) hand, wherewith thou shalt (you shall) do signs.
Moses Returns to Egypt
18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee (you), and return unto my brethren (brothers) which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive (whether they are still alive). And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
19 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy (your) life.
20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass (a donkey), and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod (staff) of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) in his hand.
God’s (Elohim’s) Message to Pharaoh
21 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, When thou goest (you go) to return into Egypt, see that thou (you) do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine (your) hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
22 And thou shalt (you shall) say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith (says) the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
23 And I say unto thee (you), Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou (you) refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy (kill your) son, even thy (your) firstborn.
24 And it came to pass by the way in the inn (lodging place), that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) met him, and sought (hunted, pursued) to kill him.
25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast (threw) it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou (are you) to me.
26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou shalt (you shall), because of the circumcision.
27 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and kissed him.
28 And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.
The Children of Israel Believe
29 And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
30 And Aaron spake (spoke) all the words which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction (suffering), then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

Confronting Pharaoh
5 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym) of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), neither will I let Israel go.
3 And they said, The God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of the Hebrews hath (has) met with us: let us go, we pray thee (you), three days’ journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the Lord (Adonai) our God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword (AMP Bible: so that He does not discipline us with pestilence or with the sword).
4 And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.
5 And Pharaoh said, Behold (Look), the people of the land now are many, and ye (you) make them rest from their burdens.
Pharaoh Increases Burden
6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,
7 Ye (You) shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore (as before): let them go and gather straw for themselves.
8 And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye (you) shall lay upon them; ye (you) shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour (work hard) therein (in that place); and let them not regard vain words.
10 And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake (spoke) to the people, saying, Thus saith (says) Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.
11 Go ye (you), get you straw where ye (you) can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.
12 So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.
(NOTE: stubble (noun) = the cut stalks of grain plants left sticking out of the ground after the grain is harvested)
13 And the taskmasters hasted (pressured) them, saying, Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
14 And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have ye not (Why have you not) fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore (as before)?
Officers Beg for Relief
15 Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with thy servants (Why do you deal like this with your servants)?
16 There is no straw given unto thy (to your) servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy (your) servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine (your) own people.
17 But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle (AMP Bible: You are lazy, very lazy and idle!): therefore ye (you) say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
18 Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye (you)deliver the tale of bricks.
Murmurings Against Moses
19 And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye (You) shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.
20 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:
21 And they said unto them, The Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) look upon you, and judge; because ye (you) have made our savour (taste / flavor) to be abhorred (odious, hated) in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay (kill) us.
Moses’ Prayer
22 And Moses returned unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and said, Lord (Adonai), wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people (AMP Bible: O Lord, why have You brought harm and oppression to this people)? why is it that thou hast sent me? (AMP Bible: Why did You ever send me? [I cannot understand Your purpose!])
23 For since (Ever since) I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy (your) name, he hath done evil to this people (AMP Bible: he has harmed and oppressed this people); neither hast thou (have you) delivered thy (rescued your) people at all.
Exodus 6

God (Elohim / Aluahym) Renews His Covenant with Moses
1 Then the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, Now shalt thou (shall you) see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
2 And God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake (spoke) unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah):
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.
4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage (journey), wherein (in which) they were strangers.
5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant (agreement [with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob]).
6 Wherefore (Therefore) say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): and ye (you) shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) your God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), which bringeth you out (who brought you out) from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

The People Will Not Listen
9 And Moses spake (spoke) so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto (did not pay attention) Moses for anguish of spirit (distress, misery), and for cruel bondage.
10 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake (spoke) unto Moses, saying,
11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.
12 And Moses spake (spoke) before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto (have not listened to) me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips (AMP Bible: unskilled and inept in speech)?
13 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake (spoke) unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
Heads of Families in Egypt
14 These be the heads of their fathers’ houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.
15 And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.
16 And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an (a) hundred thirty and seven years.
17 The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.
18 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an (a) hundred thirty and three years.
19 And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.
20 And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an (a) hundred and thirty and seven years.
21 And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.
23 And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
24 And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.
25 And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.
26 These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.
27 These are they which spake (spoke) to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.
28 And it came to pass (And it happened like this) on the day when the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake (spoke) unto Moses in the land of Egypt,
29 That the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake (spoke) unto Moses, saying, I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): speak thou (you) unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee (you).
