PARABLE: Set Your Candle on a Candlestick
(NOTE: parable (noun) = a simple story used to illustrate or explain a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Yahusha (the original name of the Messiah in the Hebrew language) in the Gospels)
21 And he (He) said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
(NOTE: bushel (noun) = a container for measuring dry goods such as grain or peas)
22 For there is nothing hid (hidden), which shall not be manifested (displayed); neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad (it would come to light).
23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
24 And he (He) said unto them, Take heed what ye hear (Pay attention to what you hear): with what measure ye (you) mete (dispense or allot justice, a punishment), it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
PARABLE: The Growing Seed
25 For he that hath (has), to him shall be given: and he that hath (has) not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath (has).
26 And he (He) said, So is the kingdom of God (Yahuah’s kingdom; heaven), as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth (knows) not how.
28 For the earth bringeth (brings) forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth (puts) in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
PARABLE: The Grain of a Mustard Seed
30 And he (He) said, Whereunto (Unto what) shall we liken (point out the resemblance) the kingdom of God (Yahuah’s kingdom; heaven)? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Mustard seed

32 But when it is sown, it groweth (grows) up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth (shoots) out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
33 And with many such parables spake (spoke) he (He) the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
34 But without a parable spake (spoke) he (He) not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded (He explained) all things to his (His) disciples.
Jesus (Yahusha) Rebukes the Wind
35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto (He said to) them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36 And when they had sent away the multitude (crowd), they took him (Him) even as he (He) was in the ship. And there were also with him (Him) other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he (He) was in the hinder (back) part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him (Him), and say unto him (Him), Master, carest thou not (do you not care) that we perish (die)?
39 And he (He) arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he (He) said unto them, Why are ye (you) so fearful? how is it that ye (you) have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly (extremely), and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him (Him)?

Offerings by the Tribal Princes
7 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it (made it holy), and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
2 That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:
3 And they brought their offering before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.
Offerings Given to Levites
4 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt (you shall) give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
6 And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.
7 Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:
8 And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
Twelve Days of Offerings
10 And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
11 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
First Day: The Prince of Judah
12 And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:
13 And his offering was one silver charger, the weight thereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them were full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
14 One spoon of ten shekels of gold, full of incense:
15 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
16 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
17 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
Second Day: The Prince of Issachar
18 On the second day Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:
19 He offered for his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
20 One spoon of gold of ten shekels, full of incense:
21 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
22 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
23 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
Third Day: The Prince of Zebulun
24 On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun, did offer:
25 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
26 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
27 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
28 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
29 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.
Fourth Day: The Prince of Reuben
30 On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben, did offer:
31 His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
32 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
33 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
34 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:

Fifth Day: The Prince of Simeon
36 On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon, did offer:
37 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
38 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

Sixth Day: The Prince of Gad
42 On the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad, offered:
43 His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels, a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
44 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
45 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

Seventh Day: The Prince of Ephraim
48 On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim, offered:
49 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
50 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

Eighth Day: The Prince of Manasseh
54 On the eighth day offered Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:
55 His offering was one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
56 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
57 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

Ninth Day: The Prince of Benjamin
60 On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin, offered:
61 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
62 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
63 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
64 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:

Tenth Day: The Prince of Dan
66 On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan, offered:
67 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
68 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

Eleventh Day: The Prince of Asher
72 On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher, offered:
73 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
74 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

Twelfth Day: The Prince of Naphtali
78 On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali, offered:
79 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil for a meat offering:
80 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:
81 One young bullock (bull), one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
82 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:
83 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.
Altar Offerings Given by the Princes
84 This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:
85 Each charger of silver weighing an hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
86 The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels.
Burnt Offerings by the Princes
87 All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks (bulls), the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.
Peace Offerings by the Princes
88 And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks (bulls), the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.
God (Elohim) Speaks to Moses
89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims (angelic beings involved in the worship and praise of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah)): and he spake unto (spoke to) him.

Aaron to Light the Lamps
8 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou (you) lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) commanded Moses.
4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
Cleansing Rituals for Levites
5 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 And thus shalt thou do unto (shall you do to) them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
8 Then let them take a young bullock (bull) with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled (mixed) with oil, and another young bullock (bull) shalt thou (shall you) take for a sin offering.
9 And thou shalt (you shall) bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt (you shall) gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
10 And thou shalt (you shall) bring the Levites before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah): and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt (you shall) offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), to make an atonement for the Levites.

The Levites Represent Israel’s Firstborn
14 Thus thou shalt (you shall) separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt (you shall) cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto (near to) the sanctuary.
The Levites Purified
20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah); and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
Age Limits for Service
23 And the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) spake unto (spoke to) Moses, saying,
24 This is it that belongeth unto (belongs to) the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
26 But shall minister with their brethren (brothers) in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou (shall you) do unto the Levites touching their charge.
