Advice for Elders and Young Men

5 The elders which are among you I exhort (encourage), who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ (Mashiach), and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

2 Feed the flock of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre (shameful gain), but of a ready mind;

3 Neither as being lords (masters) over God’s (Yahuah’s) heritage, but being examples to the flock.

4 And when the chief (Chief) Shepherd shall appear, ye (you) shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not (does not fade) away.

5 Likewise, ye (you) younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea (Yes), all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility (humbleness): for God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) resisteth (resists, hates) the proud, and giveth (gives) grace to the humble.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), that he (He) may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him (Him); for he careth (He cares) for you.

8 Be sober (not drunk), be vigilant (alert); because your adversary (enemy) the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about (walks around), seeking whom he may devour (eat, destroy):

9 Whom resist stedfast (steadfast) in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren (fellow believers) that are in the world.

10 But the God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) of all grace, who hath (has) called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha), after that ye (you) have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish (establish), strengthen, settle you.

11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

(NOTE: Amen (adverb) = אָמֵן (Hebrew 543) – An Abrahamic declaration of affirmation which is first found in the Hebrew Bible. It means truly / verily / so be it)

Peter’s Final Greetings

12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting (encouraging), and testifying that this is the true grace of God (Elohim / Aluahym: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) wherein ye (you) stand.

13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth (greets) you; and so doth (does) Marcus my son.

14 Greet ye (you) one another with a kiss of charity (love). Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yahusha). Amen.

Ezekiel as Israel’s Watchman

33 Again the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy (your) people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 If when he seeth (sees) the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 Then whosoever heareth (hears) the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not (does not take the) warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh (takes) warning shall deliver his soul.

6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the (and does not blow) trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity (sin); but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

7 So thou (you), O son of man, I have set thee (you) a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt (you shall) hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt (you shall) surely die; if thou dost not (if you do not) speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity (sin); but his blood will I require at thine (your) hand.

9 Nevertheless, if thou (you) warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity (sin); but thou hast (you have) delivered thy (your) soul.

The Watchman’s Message

10 Therefore, O thou (you) son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye (you) speak, saying, If our transgressions (violations of God’s law or will) and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11 Say unto them, As I live, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym), I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye (you), turn ye (you) from your evil ways; for why will ye (you) die, O house of Israel?

12 Therefore, thou (you) son of man, say unto the children of thy (your) people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression (violation of God’s law or will): as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth (turns) from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth (sins).

13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity (sin), all his righteousnesses (righteousness) shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity (sin) that he hath (has) committed, he shall die for it.

14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt (You shall) surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes (written laws) of life, without committing iniquity (sin); he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 None of his sins that he hath (has) committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath (has) done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

17 Yet the children of thy (your) people say, The way of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

18 When the righteous turneth (turns) from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity (commits sin), he shall even die thereby.

19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Yet ye (you) say, The way of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is not equal. O ye (you) house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten (stricken).

22 Now the hand of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

23 Then the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Ye (You) eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye (you) possess the land?

26 Ye (You) stand upon your sword, ye (you) work abomination (wickedness), and ye (you) defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye (you) possess the land?

27 Say thou (you) thus unto them, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured (eaten, destroyed), and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence (fatal epidemic disease, plague).

28 For I will lay the land most desolate (deserted), and the pomp (pride) of her strength shall cease (stop); and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate (deserted), that none shall pass through.

29 Then shall they know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when I have laid the land most desolate (deserted) because of all their abominations (extreme wickedness) which they have committed.

30 Also, thou (you) son of man, the children of thy (your) people still are talking against thee (you) by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh (comes) forth from the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).

31 And they come unto thee (you) as the people cometh (come), and they sit before thee (you) as my people, and they hear thy (your) words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew (show) much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness (but their heart goes after their (unlawful) gain).

32 And, lo, thou art unto (And look, you are to) them as a very lovely song of one that hath (has) a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy (your) words, but they do them not.

33 And when this cometh (comes) to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath (has) been among them.

The Shepherds of Israel

34 And the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym) unto the shepherds; Woe (Great sorrow) be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

3 Ye (You) eat the fat, and ye (you) clothe you with the wool, ye (you) kill them that are fed: but ye (you) feed not the flock.

4 The diseased have ye (you) not strengthened, neither have ye (you) healed that which was sick, neither have ye (you) bound up that which was broken, neither have ye (you) brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye (you) sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye (you) ruled them.

5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea (yes), my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

7 Therefore, ye (you) shepherds, hear the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah);

8 As I live, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym), surely because my flock became a prey, and my (My) flock became meat to every beast (animal) of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my (My) shepherds search for my (My) flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my (My) flock;

9 Therefore, O ye (you) shepherds, hear the word (Word) of the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah);

10 Thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

The Good Shepherd

11 For thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

12 As a shepherd seeketh (seeks) out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my (My) sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

15 I will feed my (My) flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

17 And as for you, O my (My) flock, thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym); Behold (See / Look), I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

18 Seemeth (Seems) it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye (you) must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye (you) must foul the residue with your feet?

19 And as for my (My) flock, they eat that which ye (you) have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye (you) have fouled with your feet.

20 Therefore thus saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym) unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

21 Because ye (you) have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye (you) have scattered them abroad;

22 Therefore will I save my (My) flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

24 And I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) will be their God (Elohim / Aluahym), and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) have spoken it.

The LORD’S (ADONAI’S) Covenant of Peace

25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell (live) safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah), when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast (animal) of the land devour (eat, destroy) them; but they shall dwell (live) safely, and none shall make them afraid.

(NOTE: heathen (noun) = An old-fashioned and offensive word for someone who has no religion, or belongs to a religion that is not Christianity, Judaism, or Islam; nations [unbelievers of  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah])

29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown (fame), and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen (nations) any more.

30 Thus shall they know that I the Lord (Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) their God (Elohim / Aluahym) am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my (My) people, saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

31 And ye (you) my (My) flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God (Elohim / Aluahym), saith (says) the Lord God (Adonai Elohim / Aluahym).

Yehoshooah / Yehushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (with the niqqud as a pronunciation guide) means God saves.

QUESTION: If the Messiah came in the name of His Father (Yah) as in John 5:43, will it make sense that the Messiah’s name be “Yehoshooah” / “Yehushua” / “Yehusha”? ANSWER: No.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua יהושוע (Hebrew 3091) as spelled in this manner (without the niqqud) depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) as in John 5:43 means God saves.

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יהושע) as spelled in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original ancient Hebrew text spelling and pronunciation.

Yah יה (Hebrew 3050) is made of י (y = Yad / Yod) & הּ (ah = Hay) which means YAH (יְה = the Creator), + ו (u = Uau) + ש (sh = Shan / Shin) + ע (a = Ayin).

John 5:38 King James Version (KJV)
And ye (you) have not his word (His Word) abiding (remaining) in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye (Him you) believe not.

14 Blessed are they that do his (His) commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

James 1:22 King James Version (KJV)
But be ye (you) doers of the word (Word), and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth (sows / puts in / plants / spreads), that shall he also reap (harvest / attain / get).

Galatians 6:3 King James Version (KJV)
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth (deceives, is deceiving) himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Colossians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).

1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”

Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

John 7:27 King James Version (KJV)

Matthew 7:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

2 For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold, a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?

5 Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

Matthew 6:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
14 For if ye (you) forgive men their trespasses (wrongdoings/sins), your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not (For if you do not forgive) men their trespasses (wrongdoings/sins), neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (wrongdoings / sins).

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye (you) have received, freely give.

John 3:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Jesus (Yahusha) answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly (seriously) say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah).”

John 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)
16 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) so loved the world, that he gave his (that He gave His) only begotten Son [Yahusha ha’Mashiach], that whosoever believeth in him (believes in Him) should not perish, but have everlasting (eternal) life.

17 For God (Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Lord]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Yahusha ha’Mashiach).
