The Collection for Christians in Jerusalem

9 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous (unnecessary) for me to write to you

(AMP Bible: Now it is unnecessary for me to write to you about the offering [that is to be made] for the saints [in Jerusalem]):

For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago (that Achaia has been prepared since last year [for this contribution]); and your zeal hath (and your passion has) provoked very many.

Yet have I sent the brethren (fellow believers), lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye (you) may be ready:

Lest haply (To avoid the risk of, perhaps) if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye (you)) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren (encourage fellow believers), that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty (gift), whereof ye (you) had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty (gift), and not as of covetousness (greediness).

(AMP Bible: That is why I thought it necessary to urge these brothers to go to you [before I come] and make arrangements in advance for this generous, previously promised gift of yours, so that it would be ready, not as something extorted [or wrung out of you], but as a [voluntary and] generous gift.)

But this I say, He which soweth (he who sows) sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully (sows plentifully) shall reap also bountifully (plentifully).

Every man according as he purposeth in his heart (Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart), so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth (Yahuah loves) a cheerful giver.

And God (Elohim / Aluahim) is able to make all grace abound (increase) toward you; that ye (you), always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound (increase) to every good work:

(As it is written, He hath (has) dispersed abroad; he hath (has) given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth (remains) for ever.

10 Now he that ministereth (ministers) seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness (plentiful), which causeth (causes) through us thanksgiving to God (Elohim / Aluahim).

12 For the administration (ministry) of this service not only supplieth (supplies) the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God (Elohim / Aluahim);

13 Whiles (A period of time) by the experiment of this ministration (ministry) they glorify God (Elohim / Aluahim) for your professed (stated) subjection unto the gospel of Christ (Mashiach), and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God (Elohim / Aluahim) in you.

15 Thanks be unto God (Elohim / Aluahim) for his unspeakable (His indescribable) gift.

More Proverbs of Solomon

25 These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

It is the glory of God (Elohim / Aluahim) to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable.

Take away the dross (debris) from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.

Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

Put not forth thyself (yourself) in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:

For better it is that it be said unto thee (to you), Come up hither (here); than that thou shouldest (you should) be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine (your) eyes have seen.

Go not forth hastily (quickly) to strive, lest thou (you) know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy (your) neighbour hath (has) put thee (you) to shame.

Debate thy (your) cause with thy (your) neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:

10 Lest he that heareth (hears) it put thee (you) to shame, and thine (your) infamy turn not away.

11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover (rebuker) upon an obedient ear.

13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth (refreshes) the soul of his masters.

14 Whoso boasteth (boasts) himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.

15 By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

(AMP Bible: By patience and a calm spirit a ruler may be persuaded, and a soft and gentle tongue breaks the bone [of resistance].)

16 Hast thou (Have you) found honey? eat so much as is sufficient for thee (you), lest thou be (otherwise you will be) filled therewith [excessively], and vomit it.

17 Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour’s house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee (Let your foot seldom be in your neighbor’s house, or he will become tired of you and hate you).

18 A man that beareth (bears) false witness against his neighbour is a maul (battleaxe), and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

19 Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.

20 As he that taketh (takes) away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre (soda), so is he that singeth (sings) songs to an (a) heavy heart.

21 If thine (your) enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

22 For thou shalt (you shall) heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah) shall reward thee (you).

23 The north wind driveth (drives) away rain: so doth (does) an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.

24 It is better to dwell (live) in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling (fighting) woman and in a wide (big) house.

25 As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.

28 He that hath (has) no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

26 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass (donkey), and a rod for the fool’s back.

Answer not a fool according to his folly (foolishness), lest thou also be like unto him (otherwise you, even you, will be like him).

Answer a fool according to his folly (foolishness), lest he be wise in his own conceit (otherwise he will be wise in his deception [if he thinks you agree with him]).

He that sendeth (sends) a message by the hand of a fool cutteth (cuts) off the feet, and drinketh (drinks) damage.

The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools (Like the legs which are useless to the lame, so is a proverb in the mouth of a fool [who cannot learn from its wisdom]).

As he that bindeth (binds) a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth (gives) honour to a fool.

As a thorn goeth (goes) up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouths of fools.

(AMP Bible: Like a thorn that goes [without being felt] into the hand of a drunken man,
So is a proverb in the mouth of a fool [who remains unaffected by its wisdom].)

10 The great God (Elohim / Aluahim) that formed all things both rewardeth (rewards) the fool, and rewardeth (rewards) transgressors (sinners).

11 As a dog returneth (returns) to his vomit, so a fool returneth (returns) to his folly (foolishness).

12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him (Do you see a man [who is unteachable and] wise in his own eyes and full of self-conceit? There is more hope for a fool than for him).

13 The slothful man saith (The lazy man says), There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.

14 As the door turneth (turns) upon his hinges, so doth (does) the slothful (lazy) upon his bed.

15 The slothful hideth (The lazy hides) his hand in his bosom (chest); it grieveth (grieves) him to bring it again to his mouth.

16 The sluggard (lazy) is wiser in his own conceit (deception) than seven men that can render a reason.

17 He that passeth (passes) by, and meddleth with strife (and meddles with conflict) belonging not to him, is like one that taketh (takes) a dog by the ears.

18 As a mad man who casteth (casts) firebrands (a piece of burning wood), arrows, and death,

19 So is the man that deceiveth (deceives) his neighbour, and saith (says), Am not I in sport?

20 Where no wood is, there the fire goeth (goes) out: so where there is no talebearer (gossiper / slanderer), the strife ceaseth (the conflict stops).

21 As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious (quarrelsome) man to kindle strife (flame conflict).

22 The words of a talebearer (gossiper / slanderer) are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

23 Burning lips (Manipulative  murmurers) and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

(AMP Bible: Like a [common] clay vessel covered with the silver dross [making it appear silver when it has no real value] are burning lips [murmuring manipulative words] and a wicked heart.)

24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips (He who hates, pretends with his lips), and layeth (stores) up deceit within him;

25 When he speaketh (speaks) fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations (hatred) in his heart.

26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed (showed) before the whole congregation.

27 Whoso diggeth (digs) a pit shall fall therein (into it): and he that rolleth (rolls) a stone, it will return upon him.

28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it (A lying tongue hates those it wounds and crushes); and a flattering mouth worketh (works) ruin.

“Therefore MY PEOPLE SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth (He who does) speak: behold, it is I.”

The word ‘God’ is a noun. It is not God’s actual name.

ANSWER: God’s actual name is as follows:-

YHWH meaning in the Bible

(NOTE: YHWH (proper noun) = 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 the proper name of the God of Israel. יְהוָֹה (H3068)  in tetragrammaton: יְהוָֹה (H3068) יְ (yod) ה (he) וָֹ (uau / waw) ה (he)

In Hebrew text:-
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH in Ancient Hebrew alphabets)
          OR
יהוה (YHWH in Modern Hebrew alphabets without Niqqud / Nikud / Hebrew Vowels)

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach (Hebrew) = Messiah (English) / Anointed One (the Savior who saves the sinners for those who believe in Him)

FULL NAME in Hebrew text with ‘The’: יְהוֹשׁעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahusha Ha-Mashiach = Yahusha The Anointed One.

Christos > Χριστός (Greek) transliterated into Christ (English) which means Anointed One

NOTES:-

1. SPELLING VERSION #1:-

Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. SPELLING VERSION #2:-

Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God  / Yah saves.

3. SPELLING VERSION #3:-

Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. SPELLING VERSION #4:-

Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father and according to the original ancient Hebrew text spelling and pronunciation.

Yah יָהּ (H3050), + וָֹ (u) + שַׁ Sh + ע A = Yahusha (יְהוֹשׁעַ) which means Yahuah (God) saves (H3091) (NOTE: Hebrew text is read from left to right). See the diagram below:-
