PARABLE: The Parable of the Vineyard
(a.k.a The Parable of the Wicked Husbandmen / Vinedressers / Tenants)
12 And he (He) began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an (a) hedge about it, and digged (dug) a place for the winefat (vessel), and built a tower, and let (rent) it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
(NOTE: hedge (noun) = a row of closely planted shrubs or low-growing trees forming a fence or boundary)
2 And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast (threw) stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved (well beloved), he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence (respect) my son.
7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.’
8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
9 What shall therefore the master of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
10 And have ye (you) not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous (remarkable) in our eyes?
12 And they sought to lay hold on him (Him), but feared the people: for they knew that he (He) had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
Paying Tribute to Caesar
13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.
14 And when they were come, they say unto him (Him), Master, we know that thou art (you are) true, and carest (care) for no man: for thou regardest not (you regard not, you paid no attention to) the person of men (to who they are), but teachest (you teach) the way of Elohim / Aluahym in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he (He), knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye (you) me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
16 And they brought it. And he saith unto (said to) them, Whose is this image and superscription (inscription)? And they said unto him, Caesar’s.
17 And Yahusha (the original name of the Messiah in the Hebrew language) answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to Elohim / Aluahym the things belong to Elohim / Aluahym. And they marvelled (amazed) at him.
Resurrection Questions
18 Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
(NOTE: Sadducees (proper noun) = Members of a Jewish sect or party of the time of Jesus Christ (Yahusha ha’Mashiach) that denied the resurrection of the dead, the existence of spirits, and the obligation of oral tradition, emphasizing acceptance of the written Law alone. They did not believe in any Scripture beyond the Torah, [the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy]. According to them, the Torah’s laws alone should be observed. The scripture below confirms that the Sadducees do not believe in resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit – Acts 23:8)
Acts 23:8 King James Version (KJV)
For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.)
19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother (children for his brother).
20 Now there were seven brethren (brothers): and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed (leaving no children).
21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed (children): and the third likewise.
22 And the seven had her, and left no seed (children): last of all the woman died also.
23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
24 And Yahusha answering said unto them, Do ye (you) not therefore err (make mistakes), because ye (you) know not the scriptures, neither the power of Elohim / Aluahym?
25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye (you) not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush Elohim / Aluahym spake unto (spoke to) him, saying, I am the Elohim / Aluahym of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
27 He is not the Elohim / Aluahym of the dead, but the Elohim / Aluahym of the living: ye (you) therefore do greatly err (mistaken).

Elohim’s Great Acts
11 Therefore thou shalt (you shall) love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and keep his charge (and keep the responsibilities and duties given by Elohim), and his (His) statutes (written laws), and his judgments, and his commandments, alway (always).
2 And know ye (you) this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement (discipline) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, his (His) greatness, his (His) mighty hand, and his (His) stretched out arm,
3 And his (His) miracles, and his (His) acts, which he (He) did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his (His) land;
4 And what he (He) did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he (He) made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) destroyed them unto this day;
5 And what he (He) did unto you in the wilderness, until ye (you) came into this place;
6 And what he (He) did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
7 But your eyes have seen all the great acts of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah which he (He) did.
The Land of Milk and Honey
8 Therefore shall ye (you) keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye (you) may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye (you) go to possess it;
9 And that ye (you) may prolong your days in the land, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah sware unto (swore to) your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth (flows) with milk and honey.
10 For the land, whither thou goest in (which you are entering) to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye (which you) came out, where thou sowedst thy seed (where you sowed your seed), and wateredst (watered) it with thy (your) foot, as a garden of herbs:
11 But the land, whither ye (which you) go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh (drinks) water of the rain of heaven:
12 A land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim careth (cares) for: the eyes of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
Elohim will Send Rain and Harvest
13 And it shall come to pass, if ye (you) shall hearken (listen) diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain (the early [fall] rain) and the latter rain (the late [spring] rain), that thou mayest (you may) gather in thy (your) corn, and thy (your) wine, and thine (your) oil.
15 And I will send grass in thy (your) fields for thy (your) cattle, that thou mayest (you may) eat and be full.
16 Take heed to yourselves (Beware), that your heart (hearts) be not deceived, and ye (you) turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
17 And then the Lord’s wrath (extreme anger) be kindled (flaming) against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield (produce) not her fruit; and lest ye (you) perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord giveth you (is giving you).
Love ADONAI
18 Therefore shall ye (you) lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes ((frontals, frontlets) on your forehead).
19 And ye (you) shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest (you sit) in thine (your) house, and when thou walkest by the way (when you walk along the road), when thou liest (you lie) down, and when thou risest (you rise) up.
20 And thou shalt (you shall) write them upon the door posts of thine (your) house, and upon thy (your) gates:
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah sware unto (swore to) your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 For if ye (you) shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, to walk in all his (His) ways, and to cleave unto him (hold fast to Him);
23 Then will 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah drive out all these nations from before you, and ye (you) shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.
24 Every place whereon (which) the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye (you) shall tread upon, as he hath (has) said unto you.
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye (you) obey the commandments of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye (you) will not obey the commandments of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye (you) have not known.
29 And it shall come to pass, when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) brought thee (you) in unto the land whither thou goest (you go) to possess it, that thou shalt (you shall) put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth (goes) down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell (live) in the champaign (open level countryside) over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
31 For ye (you) shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim giveth you (is giving you), and ye (you) shall possess it, and dwell therein (live in it).
32 And ye (you) shall observe to do all the statutes (laws) and judgments which I set before you this day.

Destroy Places of Idol Worship
12 These are the statutes (written laws) and judgments, which ye (you) shall observe to do in the land, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Elohim of thy (your) fathers giveth thee (gave you) to possess it, all the days that ye (you) live upon the earth.
2 Ye (You) shall utterly (completely) destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye (you) shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
3 And ye (you) shall overthrow their altars (worship table), and break their pillars, and burn their groves (wooden images) with fire; and ye (you) shall hew (tear) down the graven images (an object of worship carved usually from wood or stone; idol) of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
4 Ye (You) shall not do so unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim.
Sacrifice in a Place Chosen by Elohim
5 But unto the place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye (you) seek, and thither thou shalt (there you shall) come:
6 And thither ye (there you) shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings (Hebrew: terumah, (Exodus 29:27 )) of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings (firstborn) of your herds and of your flocks:
7 And there ye (you) shall eat before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, and ye (you) shall rejoice in all that ye (you) put your hand unto, ye (you) and your households, wherein 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) blessed thee (you).
8 Ye (You) shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 For ye (you) are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth you (is giving you).
10 But when ye (you) go over Jordan, and dwell in (live in) the land which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim giveth you (is giving you) to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye (you) dwell (live) in safety;
11 Then there shall be a place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye (there shall you) bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye (you) vow unto Adonai:
12 And ye (you) shall rejoice before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, ye (you), and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath (has) no part nor inheritance with you.
13 Take heed to thyself (yourself) that thou (you) offer not thy (your) burnt offerings in every place that thou seest (anywhere you see, any place as you please):
14 But in the place which Adonai shall choose in one of thy (your) tribes, there thou shalt (you shall) offer thy (your) burnt offerings, and there thou shalt (you shall) do all that I command thee (you).
15 Notwithstanding thou mayest (you may) kill and eat flesh in all thy (your) gates, whatsoever thy (your) soul lusteth (desire [appetite]) after, according to the blessing of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim which he hath (has) given thee (you): the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16 Only ye (you) shall not eat the blood; ye (you) shall pour it upon the earth as water.
Holy Food Eaten in Elohim’s Chosen Place
17 Thou mayest not (You may not) eat within thy (your) gates the tithe of thy (your) corn, or of thy (your) wine, or of thy (your) oil, or the firstlings of thy (your) herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy (your) vows which thou vowest (you vowed), nor thy (your) freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine (your) hand:
18 But thou must eat them before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim in the place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim shall choose, thou, and thy (your) son, and thy (your) daughter, and thy (your) manservant, and thy (your) maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy (your) gates: and thou shalt (you shall) rejoice before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim in all that thou puttest thine hands unto (that you put your hands to).
19 Take heed to thyself (yourself) that thou (you) forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest (you live) upon the earth.
Food Eaten in Gates
20 When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim shall enlarge thy (your) border, as he hath (has) promised thee (you), and thou shalt (you shall) say, I will eat flesh, because thy (your) soul longeth (longs) to eat flesh; thou mayest (you may) eat flesh, whatsoever thy (your) soul lusteth after.
21 If the place which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) chosen to put his name there be too far from thee (you), then thou shalt (you shall) kill of thy (your) herd and of thy (your) flock, which Adonai hath (has) given thee (you), as I have commanded thee (you), and thou shalt (you shall) eat in thy (your) gates whatsoever thy (your) soul lusteth after.
22 Even as the roebuck (male roe deer) and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt (you shall) eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23 Only be sure that thou (you) eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not (you may not) eat the life with the flesh.
24 Thou shalt not (You shall not) eat it; thou shalt (you shall) pour it upon the earth as water.
25 Thou shalt not (You shall not) eat it; that it may go well with thee (you), and with thy (your) children after thee (you), when thou shalt (you shall) do that which is right in the sight of Adonai.
26 Only thy (your) holy things which thou hast (you have), and thy (your) vows, thou shalt (you shall) take, and go unto the place which Adonai shall choose:
27 And thou shalt (you shall) offer thy (your) burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim: and the blood of thy (your) sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and thou shalt (you shall) eat the flesh.
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee (you), that it may go well with thee (you), and with thy (your) children after thee (you) for ever, when thou doest (you do) that which is good and right in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim.
29 When 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim shall cut off the nations from before thee (you), whither thou goest (which you are going) to possess them, and thou succeedest (you succeed) them, and dwellest (live) in their land;
30 Take heed to thyself (Pay attention to yourself) that thou (you) be not snared (trapped) by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee (you); and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not (You shall not) do so unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim: for every abomination to Adonai(repulsive thing which Adonai hates), which he hateth (hates), have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not (you shall not) add thereto, nor diminish (take away) from it.

False Prophets to be Destroyed
13 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee (announces to you) a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee (spoke to you), saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast (you have) not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto (You shall not pay attention to) the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim proveth you (is testing you to find out), to know whether ye (you) love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 Ye (You) shall walk after 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, and fear him (Him), and keep his (Him) commandments, and obey his (His) voice, and ye (you) shall serve him (Him), and cleave unto him (hold fast to, cling to Him).
5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath (has) spoken to turn you away from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee (push you) out of the way which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim commanded thee (you) to walk in. So shalt thou (shall you) put the evil away from the midst of thee (you).
6 If thy (your) brother, the son of thy (your) mother, or thy (your) son, or thy (your) daughter, or the wife of thy bosom (your chest), or thy (your) friend, which is as thine (your) own soul, entice thee (tempt you) secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not (you have not) known, thou, nor thy (your) fathers;
7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee (near to you), or far off from thee (you), from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
8 Thou shalt not (You shall not) consent unto him, nor hearken unto (listen to) him; neither shall thine (your) eye pity him, neither shalt thou (shall you) spare, neither shalt thou conceal him (neither shall you hide him):
9 But thou shalt (you shall) surely kill him; thine (your) hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10 And thou shalt (you shall) stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath (has) sought to thrust thee (push you) away from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, which brought thee (you) out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
Israel to Destroy Idolatrous Cities
12 If thou shalt (you shall) hear say in one of thy (your) cities, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) given thee (you) to dwell (live) there, saying,
13 Certain men, the children of Belial (the Devil / fallen angel / Satan / Lucifer), are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye (you) have not known;
14 Then shalt thou (shall you) enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you (loathsome thing has been done among you);
15 Thou shalt (you shall) surely smite (strike) the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly (completely), and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.
16 And thou shalt (you shall) gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt (shall) burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
17 And there shall cleave nought (cling to nothing) of the cursed thing to thine (your) hand: that Adonai may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee (show you) mercy, and have compassion upon thee (you), and multiply thee (you), as he hath (has) sworn unto thy (your) fathers;
(AMP BIBLE: 17 And none of the condemned things are to be found in your hands. Then Adonai will turn from his fierce anger, will show you mercy, and will have compassion on you. He will increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your ancestors)
18 When thou shalt hearken (When you shall pay attention) to the voice of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, to keep all his (His) commandments which I command thee (you) this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim.

And ye (you) have not his word (His Word) abiding (remaining) in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye believe not (Him you not believe).

1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”
Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)

1 Judge not, that ye (you) be not judged.
(AMP BIBLE: 1 Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].)
2 For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.
(AMP BIBLE: 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you.)
3 And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold, a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?
5 Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH Yahuah sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].
