Remember Elohim’s Care in the Wilderness

8 All the commandments which I command thee (you) this day shall ye (you) observe to do, that ye (you) may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Adonai sware unto (swore to) your fathers.

And thou shalt (you shall) remember all the way which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim led thee (you) these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee (you), and to prove thee (you), to know what was in thine (your) heart, whether thou wouldest (you would) keep his commandments, or no.

And he (He) humbled thee (you), and suffered thee (you) to hunger, and fed thee (you) with manna, which thou knewest not (you knew not), neither did thy (your) fathers know; that he (He) might make thee (you) know that man doth (does) not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth (proceeds) out of the mouth of Adonai doth (does) man live.

Thy raiment waxed (Your clothing grew) not old upon thee (you), neither did thy (your) foot swell, these forty years.

5 Thou shalt (you shall) also consider in thine (your) heart, that, as a man chasteneth (chastens, disciplines) his son, so 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim chasteneth (chastens, disciplines) thee (you).

Therefore thou shalt (you shall) keep the commandments of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, to walk in his (His) ways, and to fear him (Him).

Elohim has Provided a Good Land

For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim bringeth thee (brings you) into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

A land wherein thou shalt (you shall) eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt (you shall) not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest (you may) dig brass.

10 When thou hast (you have) eaten and art (are) full, then thou shalt (you shall) bless 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim for the good land which he hath (He has) given thee (you).

Israel Warned Not to Forget ADONAI

11 Beware that thou (you) forget not 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, in not keeping his (His) commandments, and his (His) judgments, and his statutes (His written laws), which I command thee (you) this day:

12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full (otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied), and hast (have) built goodly houses, and dwelt therein (lived in them);

13 And when thy (your) herds and thy (your) flocks multiply, and thy (your) silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast (you have) is multiplied;

14 Then thine (your) heart be lifted up, and thou (you) forget 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, which brought thee (you) forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15 Who led thee (you) through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee (you) forth water out of the rock of flint;

16 Who fed thee (you)in the wilderness with manna, which thy (your) fathers knew not, that he (He) might humble thee (you), and that he (He) might prove thee (you), to do thee (you) good at thy (your) latter end;

17 And thou (you) say in thine (your) heart, My power and the might of mine (my) hand hath (has) gotten me this wealth.

18 But thou shalt (you shall) remember 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim: for it is he that giveth thee (He that gives you) power to get wealth, that he (He) may establish his covenant (His agreement) which he sware unto (He swore to) thy (your) fathers, as it is this day.

19 And it shall be, if thou (you) do at all forget 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye (you) shall surely perish.

20 As the nations which Adonai destroyeth (destroys) before your face, so shall ye (you) perish; because ye (you) would not be obedient unto the voice of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim.

Israel to Possess the Land

9 Hear, O Israel: Thou art (You are) to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself (yourself), cities great and fenced up to heaven,

A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest (you know), and of whom thou hast (you have) heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak!

Understand therefore this day, that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim is he which goeth (goes) over before thee (you); as a consuming fire he (He) shall destroy them, and he (He) shall bring them down before thy (your) face: so shalt thou (shall you) drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as Adonai hath (has) said unto thee (you).

Speak not thou in thine (you in your) heart, after that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) cast them out from before thee (you), saying, For my righteousness Adonai hath (has) brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations Adonai doth (does) drive them out from before thee (you).

Not for thy (your) righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine (your) heart, dost thou (do you) go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim doth (does) drive them out from before thee (you), and that he may perform the word which Adonai sware unto (swore to) thy (your) fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Understand therefore, that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim giveth thee (gives you) not this good land to possess it for thy (your) righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked (for you are a stubborn) people.

Israel’s Rebellion Remembered

Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst (you provoked) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim to wrath (extreme anger) in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst (you did) depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye (you) came unto this place, ye (you) have been rebellious against Adonai.

Also in Horeb ye (you) provoked Adonai to wrath (extreme anger), so that Adonai was angry with you to have destroyed you.

Elohim Gives Moses Two Stone Tables (Tablets)

When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which Adonai made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:

10 And Adonai delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of Elohim; and on them was written according to all the words, which Adonai spake (spoke) with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that Adonai gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant.

The Golden Calf

12 And Adonai said unto me, Arise, get thee (you) down quickly from hence; for thy (your) people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

13 Furthermore Adonai spake unto (spoke to) me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked (stubborn, obstinate) people:

14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee (you) a nation mightier and greater than they.

15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.

16 And I looked, and, behold, ye (you) had sinned against 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and had made you a molten calf: ye (you) had turned aside quickly out of the way which Adonai had commanded you.

Moses Breaks Tables (Tablets) of Stone

17 And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.

18 And I fell down before Adonai, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye (you) sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of Adonai, to provoke him to anger.

19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith Adonai was wroth against you to destroy you. But Adonai hearkened unto (paid attention to) me at that time also.

20 And Adonai was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.

21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye (you) had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.

Times of Rebellion Remembered

22 And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, ye (you) provoked Adonai to wrath.

23 Likewise when Adonai sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye (you) rebelled against the commandment of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, and ye believed him not (and you did not believe Him), nor hearkened to his voice (nor paid attention to His voice).

24 Ye (You) have been rebellious against Adonai from the day that I knew you.

25 Thus I fell down before Adonai forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because Adonai had said he would destroy you.

26 I prayed therefore unto Adonai, and said, O Adonai Elohim, destroy not thy (your) people and thine (your) inheritance, which thou hast (you have) redeemed through thy (your) greatness, which thou hast (you have) brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

27 Remember thy (your) servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

28 Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say (so that the [people of the] land from which You brought us will not say), Because Adonai was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath (has) brought them out to slay kill) them in the wilderness.

29 Yet they are thy (your) people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest (you brought) out by thy (your) mighty power and by thy (your) stretched out arm.

The Second Set of Tables (Tablets) of Stone

10 At that time Adonai said unto me, Hew (Cut out) thee (you) two tables (tablets) of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee (you) an ark of wood.

And I will write on the tables (tablets) the words that were in the first tables (tablets) which thou brakest (you broke), and thou shalt (you shall) put them in the ark.

And I made an ark of shittim (acacia) wood, and hewed two tables (tablets) of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables (tablets) in mine (my) hand.

And he wrote on the tables (tablets), according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Adonai spake unto (spoke to) you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and Adonai gave them unto me.

And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables (tablets) in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as Adonai commanded me.

The Journey Continues

And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his stead.

From thence (there) they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.

At that time Adonai separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Adonai, to stand before Adonai to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

Wherefore Levi hath (has) no part nor inheritance with his brethren (brothers); Adonai is his inheritance, according as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim promised him.

10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Adonai hearkened unto (paid attention to) me at that time also, and Adonai would not destroy thee (you).

11 And Adonai said unto me, Arise, take thy (your) journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto (swore to) their fathers to give unto them.

Elohim’s Requirements of Israel

12 And now, Israel, what doth (does) 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim require of thee (you), but to fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim with all thy (your) heart and with all thy (your) soul,

13 To keep the commandments of Adonai, and his statutes (His written laws), which I command thee (you) this day for thy (your) good?

14 Behold (Look), the heaven and the heaven of heavens belongs to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim, the earth also, with all that therein is.

15 Only Adonai had a delight in thy (your) fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked (stubborn, obstinate).

17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim of gods, and Master of masters, a great Elohim, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth (regards) not persons, nor taketh (takes) reward:

18 He doth (does) execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth (loves) the stranger, in giving him food and raiment (clothing).

19 Love ye (you) therefore the stranger: for ye (you) were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20 Thou shalt (you shall) fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim; him shalt thou (shall you) serve, and to him (Him) shalt thou (shall you) cleave, and swear by his (Him) name.

21 He is thy (your) praise, and he is thy (your) Elohim, that hath (has) done for thee (you) these great and terrible (awesome) things, which thine (your) eyes have seen.

22 Thy (Your) fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten (70) persons; and now 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah thy (your) Elohim hath (has) made thee (you) as the stars of heaven for multitude.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].

Malachi 2:2 King James Version (KJV)
If ye (you) will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart (you will not take it seriously), to give glory unto my (My) name, saith (says) Adonai; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah of hosts, I WILL EVEN SEND A CURSE UPON YOU, and I will curse your blessings: yea (yes), I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart (because you do not take it seriously).”

EDIFY AND ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER ALWAYS:-
