BIBLE INSIGHTS: The Few Chosen Ones
Matthew 22:14 Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.
This verse is the summary of the Parable of the Marriage Feast.
As we know that Jesus loved to use parables are simple stories used to illustrate moral or spiritual lessons.
Are we one of those few who has ears to hear and responding to His call? Are we getting ourselves prepared to attend the wedding banquet? Are we too busy and preoccupied to listen to His call with our spiritual ears? Will we be complete the good work until His return?
Philippians 1:6-7 Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].
Stay focused, faithful & strong as we are His chosen people.
1 Peter 2:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Prayer: Father Lord, help us to hear Your voice and obey. We know You have good plans for us as we are your children. Speak to us Lord. We want to hear Your voice and do what You want us to do because we love You. Amen.
