Yahusha, the True Vine
15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman (vinedresser).
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away (Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away): and every branch that beareth (bears) fruit, he purgeth it (He [repeatedly] prunes), that it may bring forth (produce) more fruit.
3 Now ye (you) are clean through the word (Word) which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide (Remain / Stay) in me (Me), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide (remain, stay) in the vine; no more can ye (you), except ye abide in me (except you stay in Me).
5 I am the vine, ye (you) are the branches: He that abideth (abides / stays) in me (Me), and I in him, the same bringeth forth (produces) much fruit: for without me (Me) ye (you) can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not (do not remain / stay) in me (Me), he is cast forth (thrown out) as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast (thrown) them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me (If you stay in Me), and my words (and My Words) abide (remain / stay) in you, ye (you) shall ask what ye (you) will, and it shall be done unto you.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my (My) joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my (My) commandment, That ye (you) love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath (has) no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye (You) are my friends, if ye (you) do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth (From now on) I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth (knows) not what his master doeth (does): but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my (My) Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye (You) have not chosen me (Me), but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye (you) should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye (you) shall ask of the Father in my (My) name, he (He) may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye (you) love one another.
The World’s Hatred
18 If the world hate you, ye (you) know that it hated me (Me) before it hated you.
19 If ye (you) were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye (you) are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth (hates) you.
20 Remember the word (Word) that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his master . If they have persecuted me (Me), they will also persecute you; if they have kept my (My) saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my (My) name’s sake, because they know not him (Him) that sent me (Me).
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

23 He that hateth (hates) me hateth my Father also (hates My Father also).
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me (Me) and my (My) Father.
25 But this cometh to pass (But this will happen), that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me (Me) without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is comes (Ruach ha’Qodesh comes), whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father (that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father), he (He) shall testify of me (Me):

Revolt (Rebellion) against Athaliah
23 And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.
2 And they went about in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the chief of the fathers of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.
3 And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house (House) of Elohim. And he said unto them, Behold (Look), the king’s son shall reign, as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah hath (has) said of the sons of David.
4 This is the thing that ye (you) shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath (Sabbath), of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters (gatekeepers) of the doors;
(NOTE: Sabbath Day (proper noun – name of the day of the week) = Strong’s Concordance H7676: שַׁבָּת Transliteration: shabbath = To pause / intermission. ROOT WORD: H7673. שָׁבַת Transliteration: shabath = To rest, to cease, to stop, to desist. It is the seventh day / Saturday / Yom Shabbat. In accordance with Exodus 20:8–11, the Almighty Most High Almighty Creator 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Himself commanded that the seventh day of the week to be kept holy as the Sabbath Day (COMMANDMENT #4). The purpose of this day of rest is to remind the believers to obey the 4th commandment of the Most High Almighty Creator 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah in Exodus 20:8–11 from the Ten Commandments: Exodus 20:1-17)
5 And a third part shall be at the king’s house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.
6 But let none come into the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, save the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep the watch of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.
7 And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh (comes) into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye (you) with the king when he cometh (comes) in, and when he goeth (goes) out.
8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath (Sabbath), with them that were to go out on the sabbath (Sabbath): for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.
9 Moreover Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David’s, which were in the house (House) of Elohim.
10 And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
11 Then they brought out the king’s son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, Elohim save the king.
The Death of Athaliah
12 Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah:
13 And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of musick (music), and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.
14 Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth of the ranges: and whoso followeth (whoever follows) her, let him be slain (killed) with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not (Do not kill) in the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.
15 So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king’s house, they slew (killed) her there.
Jehoiada’s Religious Reforms
16 And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the Yahuah’s people.
17 Then all the people went to the house of Baal, and brake (broke) it down, and brake (broke) his altars and his images in pieces, and slew (killed) Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
(NOTE: Baal / Ba’al (proper noun) = בַּעַלa (H1167) = Lord, master, owner, husband, a proper noun referring to a Canaanite deity. This Canaanite-Phoenician idol [opposite of the One True Almighty Creator / Elohim / 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / Yahuah] which looks like a cow with two horns and is associated with or equivalent Satan / Devil or His demons). 19 And he set the porters at the gates of the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in.
20 And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah: and they came through the high gate into the king’s house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.
21 And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain (killed) Athaliah with the sword.

Joash Repairs the Temple
24 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Zibiah of Beersheba.
2 And Joash did that which was right in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.
4 And it came to pass (And it indeed happened) after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.
5 And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter (and see that you do it quickly). Howbeit, the Levites hastened it not (However the Levites did not act quickly).
6 And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou (have you) not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?
7 For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house (House) of Elohim; and also all the dedicated things of the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah did they bestow upon Baalim.

10 And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.
11 Now it came to pass (it indeed happened), that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.

12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah (and also those who worked in iron and bronze to repair and restore the House of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah).
13 So the workmen wrought (labored), and the work was perfected by them, and they set the house (House) of Elohim in his state, and strengthened it.
14 And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah continually all the days of Jehoiada.
15 But Jehoiada waxed (grew) old, and was full of days when he died; an (a) hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.
16 And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward Elohim, and toward his house.
Jehoiada Reforms Reversed
17 Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made obeisance (bowed down) to the king. Then the king hearkened unto (listened to) them.
18 And they left the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Elohim of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath (extreme anger) came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass (sin).
(NOTE: grove (noun) = אֲשֵׁרָה (H842. Asherah) A wooden image, or a pillar representing Asherah (or Astarte) a Phoenician goddess; a sensual Canaanitish goddess)
19 Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear (listen).
20 And the Ruach of Elohim came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith (says) Elohim, Why transgress ye (you) the commandments (Commandments) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, that ye (you) cannot prosper? because ye (you) have forsaken 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, he hath (He has) also forsaken you.
21 And they conspired (made harmful secret plans) against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house (House) of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah.
22 Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew (killed) his son. And when he died, he said, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah look upon it, and require it.
The End of Joash’s Reign
23 And it came to pass (And it indeed happened) at the end of the year, that the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.
24 For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah delivered a very great host (army) into their hand, because they had forsaken 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Elohim of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
25 And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew (killed) him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres (tombs) of the kings.
26 And these are they that conspired against him; Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a Moabitess.
27 Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house (House) of Elohim, behold (look), they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead (place).
