The Promise of the Ruach ha’Qodesh

1 The former treatise (account) have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Yahusha began both to do and teach,

Until the day in which he (He) was taken up, after that he (He) through the Rauch ha’Qodesh (the Spirit of Yahuah) had given commandments unto the apostles whom he (He) had chosen:

To whom also he shewed himself (He showed himself ) alive after his passion (His suffering) by many infallible (certain) proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of Elohim:

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he (He said), ye (you) have heard of me (Me).

For John truly baptized with water; but ye (you) shall be baptized with the Ruach ha’Qodesh (the Spirit of Yahuah) not many days hence (from now).

The Ascension of Yahusha

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him (Him), saying, Adonai, wilt thou (will You) at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he (He) said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath (has) put in his (His) own power.

But ye (you) shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you (when the Holy Spirit comes upon you): and ye (you) shall be witnesses unto me (Me) both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea (Judea), and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (and even to the ends of the earth).

And when he (He) had spoken these things, while they beheld (they were looking), he (He) was taken up; and a cloud received him (Him) out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly (they were looking intently) toward heaven as he (He) went up, behold (look), two men stood by them in white apparel;

11 Which also said, Ye (You) men of Galilee, why stand ye (you) gazing up into heaven? this same Yahusha, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye (you) have seen him (Him) go into heaven.

Matthias Replaces Judas

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet (Olive Grove), which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode (remained, stayed) both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Yahusha, and with his brethren (brothers).

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an (a) hundred and twenty,)

16 Men and brethren (brothers), this scripture must needs have been fulfilled (bring to completion), which the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) by the mouth of David spake (spoke) before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Yahusha.

17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity (treachery); and falling headlong, he burst asunder (open) in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch (s0) as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate (deserted), and let no man dwell (live) therein: and his bishoprick (position) let another take.

21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Adon (Master) Yahusha went in and out among us,

22 Beginning from the baptism of John (Yohanan), unto that same day that he (He) was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his (His) resurrection.

23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

24 And they prayed, and said, Thou (You), 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, which knowest (who know) the hearts of all men, shew (show) whether of these two thou hast (You have) chosen,

25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression (sin) fell, that he might go to his own place [of evil].

26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Ezra’s Prayer Concerning Intermarriage

9 Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled (mixed) themselves with the people of those lands: yea (yes), the hand of the princes and rulers hath (has) been chief in this trespass (guilt).

And when I heard this thing, I rent (tore) my garment (clothing) and my mantle (robe [in grief]), and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied (shocked).

Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the Elohim of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.

And at the evening sacrifice I arose up from my heaviness; and having rent my garment and my mantle, I fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah my Elohim,

And said, O my Elohim, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my Elohim: for our iniquities (wrongdoings) are increased over our head, and our trespass (guilt) is grown up unto the heavens.

Since the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass (guilt) unto this day; and for our iniquities (wrongdoings) have we, our kings, and our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.

And now for a little space grace hath (has) been shewed from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah our Elohim, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.

For we were bondmen; yet our Elohim hath (has) not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath (has) extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house (House) of our Elohim, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.

10 And now, O our Elohim, what shall we say after this? for we have forsaken thy (Your) commandments,

11 Which thou hast (You have) commanded by thy (Your) servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye (you) go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.

12 Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye (you) may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever.

13 And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass (guilt), seeing that thou (You) our Elohim hast (has) punished us less than our iniquities (wrongdoings) deserve, and hast (has) given us such deliverance as this;

14 Should we again break thy (Your) commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou (Would You not) be angry with us till thou hadst (You had) consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

15 O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Elohim of Israel, thou art (You are) righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee (You) in our trespasses (guilt): for we cannot stand before thee (You) because of this.

The People Confess Their Sin

10 Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house (House) of Elohim, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore (bitterly).

And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our Elohim, and have taken strange (foreign) wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.

Now therefore let us make a covenant with our Elohim to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my master, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our Elohim; and let it be done according to the law.

Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee (belongs to you): we also will be with thee (you): be of good courage, and do it.

Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware (swore).

Then Ezra rose up from before the house (House) of Elohim, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither (there), he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.

And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Jerusalem;

And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away.

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house (House) of Elohim, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.

10 And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye (You) have transgressed (sinned), and have taken strange (foreign) wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.

11 Now therefore make confession unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Elohim of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange (foreign) wives.

12 Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast (you have) said, so must we do.

13 But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed in this thing.

14 Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange (foreign) wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our Elohim for this matter be turned from us.

15 Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them.

16 And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.

17 And they made an end with all the men that had taken strange (foreign) wives by the first day of the first month.

Those Guilty of  Intermarriage

18 And among the sons of the priests there were found that had taken strange (foreign) wives: namely, of the sons of Jeshua (Yeshua) the son of Jozadak, and his brethren (brothers); Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah.

19 And they gave their hands that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their trespass.

20 And of the sons of Immer; Hanani, and Zebadiah.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES FOR SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

Here are some important Scripture references for spiritual awakening. Please remember to read your Qodesh (Pure / Untainted) Bible and pray everyday because this is how our heavenly Father speaks to us. Make sure you read the entire Qodesh (Pure / Untainted) Bible. Write down each and every commandment, statute (written law) and instruction given by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah in His Word. Obey and practice ALL OF THEM.

Having difficulties to discipline yourself to read The Scripture daily? Then you are in trouble! Stop deceiving yourselves!

WARNING from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Himself: The Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah warned that if we do not have His word abiding (remaining) in us, then we are NOT believers (NOT saved)! WAKE UP PEOPLE! Read John 5:38:-

John 5:38 King James Version (KJV)
And ye have not his word (And you do not have His Word) abiding (remaining) in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye believe not (you do not believe Him).

Revelation 22:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Baruk are they that do his commandments (His Commandments), that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

James 1:22 King James Version (KJV)
But be ye (you) doers of the word (Word), and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth (sows / puts in / plants / spreads), that shall he also reap (harvest / attain / get).

Galatians 6:3 King James Version (KJV)
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth (deceives / is deceiving) himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Colossians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Mashiach (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).

1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”

Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

John 7:27 King James Version (KJV)
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Matthew 7:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
1 Judge not, that ye (you) be not judged.

(AMP BIBLE: 1 Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].)

For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.

(AMP BIBLE: 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you.)

And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you observe at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest not (do not consider / notice) the beam (big timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?

Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold (see), a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?

Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

Matthew 6:14-15 King James Version (KJV)

14 For if ye (you) forgive men their trespasses (wrongdoings / sins), your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH Yahuah sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].
