God’s Judgment of Sin

2 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things

AMP Bible: Therefore you have no excuse or justification, everyone of you who [hypocritically] judges and condemns others; for in passing judgment on another person, you condemn yourself, because you who judge [from a position of arrogance or self-righteousness] are habitually practicing the very same things [which you denounce]

But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

And thinkest thou (And do you think of) this, O man, that judgest (when you judge) them which do such things, and doest (do) the same, that thou shalt (you shall) escape the judgment of God?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering (Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]); not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee (leads you) to repentance (turning from evil)?

But after thy hardness (your stubbornness) and impenitent (unrepentant / remorseless / ruthless) heart treasurest (storing) up unto thyself wrath (yourself extreme anger) against the day of wrath (extreme anger) and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

(NOTE: immortality (noun) = Endless life or existence)

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation (anger) and wrath,

Tribulation (Great suffering) and anguish (suffering), upon every soul of man that doeth (does) evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

(NOTE: Gentiles = anyone who is not of Jewish descent or who does not believe in God; heathen, pagan)

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew (show) the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach) according to my gospel.

The Jews and the Law

17 Behold, thou art (you are) called a Jew, and restest (rest) in the law, and makest thy (make your) boast of God,

18 And knowest his will (know His will), and approvest (approve) the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

19 And art (are) confident that thou thyself art (you yourself are) a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast (has) the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

21 Thou (You) therefore which teachest (teach) another, teachest thou not thyself (are you not teaching yourself)? thou that preachest a man (You that preach to men) should not steal, dost thou do you) steal?

22 Thou that sayest (You who say) a man should not commit adultery, dost thou (do you) commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege (You who detest idols, do you rob [pagan] temples [of valuable idols and offerings]?

23 Thou that makest thy (You that make your) boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou (dishonor your) God?

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

25 For circumcision verily profiteth (truly profits), if thou (you) keep the law: but if thou (you) be a breaker of the law, thy (your) circumcision is made uncircumcision.

(NOTE: circumcision (noun) = The act of performing a minor surgery to cut off the foreskin of a young boy or man, especially a baby, as a religious rite, especially in Judaism and Islam, or as a medical treatment)

(NOTE: circumcise (verb) = to cut off the foreskin (a minor surgery) of a young boy or man, especially a baby, as a religious rite, especially in Judaism and Islam, or as a medical treatment)

26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee (you), who by the letter and circumcision dost (do) transgress (break) the law?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

OLD TESTAMENT

Psalm 51
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

A Psalm of Asaph.

51 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy (Your) lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy (Your) tender mercies blot out my transgressions (sins, offences).

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity (my sin, guilt), and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions (sins, offences): and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee (You), thee (You) only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy (Your) sight: that thou mightest (you might) be justified when thou speakest (you speak), and be clear when thou judgest (you judge).

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity (sin); and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, thou desirest (you desire) truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt (you shall) make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast (you have) broken may rejoice.

Hide thy (Your) face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities (my sins).

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy (Your) presence; and take not thy (Your) holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy (Your) salvation; and uphold me with thy (Your) free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy (Your) ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee (You).

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness (blood guiltiness), O God, thou (You) God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy (Your) righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou (You) my lips; and my mouth shall shew (show) forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest (You desire) not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not (You do not delight) in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite (remorseful) heart, O God, thou wilt not despise (You will not hate).

18 Do good in thy (Your) good pleasure unto Zion: build thou (You) the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then shalt thou (shall You) be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks (bulls) upon thine (Your) altar.

Psalm 52
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the Chief Musician, Maschil. A Psalm of David, when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Ahimelech.

52 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief (Why do you boast yourself in evil), O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth (endures) continually.

The tongue deviseth mischiefs (devises evil); like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

Thou lovest (You love) evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

(NOTESelah = Suspension (of music, i.e. pause [H5542 – סֶלָה]).

Thou lovest (You love) all devouring (gobbling) words, O thou (you) deceitful tongue.

God shall likewise destroy thee (you) for ever, he shall take thee (you) away, and pluck thee (you) out of thy dwelling (your living) place, and root thee (you) out of the land of the living. Selah.

The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

Lo (Look), this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

I will praise thee (You) for ever, because thou hast (You have) done it: and I will wait on thy (Your) name; for it is good before thy saints (Your godly ones).

Psalm 53
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the Chief Musician, Maschil. A Psalm of David.

53 The fool hath (has) said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity (repulsive immorality / injustice): there is none that doeth good (There is no one who does good).

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy (disgustingly dirty); there is none  that doeth (no one who does) good, no, not one.

Have the workers of iniquity (sin) no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath (has) scattered the bones of him that encampeth (encamps, surrounds) against thee (you): thou hast (you have) put them to shame, because God hath despised (has hated) them.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth (brings) back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

The video below is done by a Jewish Hebrew language lady teacher. Her name is Ayelet. She is born and raised in Israel. Hebrew is her native language. In this video, we will be able to learn the correct pronunciation of the Messiah’s original name in Hebrew:-

VIDEO: Jesus – Yeshua in Hebrew – Hebrew Word of the Day (59 secs) – by The WORD in HEBREW

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach = Messiah (English) / Anointed One

In Hebrew (full name): יְהוֹשׁוּעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahushua Ha-Mashiach = Yahushua The Anointed One.

NOTES:-

1. Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God / Yah saves.

3. Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. Yahusha as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yahuah יְהוָֹה (H3068), adds Yasha יָשַׁע (H3467 ) which means ‘Saves’. See the diagram below:-

In Greek = Christos

In English = Christ =  Messiah = Anointed One
