Greetings from Paul

1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach), called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God (Yahuah),

(Which he (He) had promised afore by his (His) prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Concerning his (His) Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach) our Lord (Messiah), which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his (His) name:

Among whom are ye (you) also the called of Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach):

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH / Almighty Living Creator), called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH / Almighty Living Creator) our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach).

God’s Good News

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ (Yeshua / Yahushua HaMashiach) for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

For God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH / Almighty Living Creator) is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing (stopping) I make mention of you always in my prayers;

10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God (Yahuah) to come unto you.

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye (you) may be established;

12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren (fellow believers), that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

(NOTE: Gentiles = anyone who is not of Jewish descent or who does not believe in God; heathen, pagan)

14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) unto salvation to every one that believeth (who believes); to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God (Yahuah) revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God’s Wrath Against Sin

18 For the wrath (extreme anger) of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) is manifest in them; for God hath shewed (Yahuah has showed) it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead (God); so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH), they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God (Yahuah) into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts (animals), and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) gave them up unto vile affections (morally impure fondness): for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence (repay) of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH) in their knowledge, God (Yahuah) gave them over to a reprobate (corrupted, wicked) mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication (to have sex before marriage), wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness (viciousness); full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity (hatred); whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH), despiteful (scornful), proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers (covenant breakers), without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God (Yahuah / Yah / YHWH), that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

OLD TESTAMENT

Psalm 49
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

To the Chief Musician, A Psalm for the Sons of Korah.

49 Hear this, all ye (you) people; give ear, all ye (you) inhabitants of the world:

Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

I will incline mine (my) ear to a parable (a simple story used for teaching moral lessons): I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity (sin) of my heels shall compass me about (shall surround me)?

They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth (stops) for ever:)

That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

10 For he seeth (sees) that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth (stays) not: he is like the beasts (animals) that perish.

13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

(NOTESelah = Suspension (of music, i.e. pause [H5542 – סֶלָה]).

14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he (He) shall receive me. Selah.

16 Be not thou (you) afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

17 For when he dieth (dies) he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee (you), when thou doest (you do) well to thyself (yourself).

19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth (understands) not, is like the beasts (animals) that perish.

Psalm 50
King James Version audio with speed control:-
(NOTE: To pause and to play again, press Fn + F5 on your keyboard)

Background music:-

A Psalm of Asaph.

50 The mighty God, even the Lord, hath (has) spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath (has) shined.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him (and around Him a mighty tempest rages).

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he (He) may judge his (His) people.

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself (Himself). Selah.

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee (you): I am God, even thy (your) God.

I will not reprove thee (rebuke you) for thy (your) sacrifices or thy (your) burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

I will take no bullock out of thy (your) house, nor he goats out of thy (your) folds.

10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee (you): for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy (your) vows unto the most High:

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee (you), and thou shalt (you shall) glorify me.

16 But unto the wicked God saith (says), What hast thou (have you) to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest (you should) take my covenant in thy (your)mouth?

17 Seeing thou hatest (you hate) instruction, and casteth (cast, throw) my words behind thee (you).

18 When thou sawest (you see) a thief, then thou consentedst (you condone) with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers (people who have sexual intercourse with those who are not their spouses; cheaters).

19 Thou givest thy (You give your) mouth to evil, and thy (your) tongue frameth (frames) deceit.

20 Thou sittest (You sit) and speakest (speak) against thy (your) brother; thou slanderest thine (you slander your) own mother’s son.

21 These things hast thou (you have) done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself (You thought that I was just like you): but I will reprove thee (you), and set them in order before thine (your) eyes.

22 Now consider this, ye (you) that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Whoso offereth (offers) praise glorifieth (glorifies) me (Me): and to him that ordereth his conversation aright (who orders rightly) will I shew (show) the salvation of God.

(NOTE: Gentiles = anyone who is not of Jewish descent or who does not believe in God; heathen, pagan)

Selah meaning in the Bible

(NOTESelah = Suspension (of music, i.e. pause [H5542 – סֶלָה]).

THE ORGINAL HEBREW NAME OF THE MESSIAH

The video below is done by a Jewish Hebrew language lady teacher. Her name is Ayelet. She is born and raised in Israel. Hebrew is her native language. In this video, we will be able to learn the correct pronunciation of the Messiah’s original name in Hebrew:-

VIDEO: Jesus – Yeshua in Hebrew – Hebrew Word of the Day (59 secs) – by The WORD in HEBREW

In Hebrew: מָשִׁיחַ (H4899) = Mashiach = Messiah (English) / Anointed One

In Hebrew (full name): יְהוֹשׁוּעַ הַמָשִׁיחַ = Yahushua Ha-Mashiach = Yahushua The Anointed One.

NOTES:-

1. Yeshua יֵשׁוּעַ (H3442 = He will save) is a shortened form of Yehoshooah / Yahushua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = God / Yah saves). EXAMPLE #1: Mike is a shortened form of Michael. EXAMPLE #2: Josh is a shortened form of Joshua.

2. Yehoshooah as spelt in this manner depicts Joshua יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H3091 = yeh-ho-SHOO-ah) adds Hosea, יְהוֹשׁוּעַ (H1954 = deliver / salvation). Therefore, Yehoshooah / Yahushua means God is Salvation God / Yah saves.

3. Yahushua as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yah יה / יָהּ (H3050) as in John 5:43).

4. Yahusha as spelt in this manner depicts that the Messiah came in the name of His Father, Yahuah יְהוָֹה (H3068), adds Yasha יָשַׁע (H3467 ) which means ‘Saves’. See the diagram below:-

In Greek = Christos

In English = Christ =  Messiah = Anointed One
