The Authority of Yahusha Challenged

20 And it came to pass (And it indeed happened), that on one of those days, as he (He) taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him (Him) with the elders,

(NOTE: scribes (noun – plural of scribe) = Jewish learned leaders trained to write and teach the Torah, the law of Elohim / Aluahym; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, the Most High Creator)

And spake unto Him (spoke to Him), saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou (You do) these things? or who is he that gave thee (You) this authority?

And he (He) answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he (He) will say, Why then believed ye him not (Why then did you not believe him)?

But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was (from where it came).

And Yahusha said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

PARABLE: The Wicked Husbandmen (Tenants)

Then began he (He) to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen (and leased it to tenant farmers), and went into a far country for a long time.

10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen (tenants) beat him, and sent him away empty.

11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast (threw) him out.

13 Then said the master of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

14 But when the husbandmen (tenants) saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

15 So they cast (threw) him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the master of the vineyard do unto them?

16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen (tenants), and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah forbid.

17 And he beheld (he observed) them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner (chief cornerstone)?

18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him (Him); and they feared the people: for they perceived (understood) that he (He) had spoken this parable against them.

Tribute to Caesar

20 And they watched him (Him), and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his (His) words, that so they might deliver him (Him) unto the power and authority of the governor.

21 And they asked him (Him), saying, Master, we know that thou sayest (You say) and teachest (teach) rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any (and that You show no partiality to anyone), but teachest (teach) the way of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah truly:

22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?

23 But he perceived (He understood) their craftiness (trickery), and said unto them, Why tempt ye me (Why are you tempting me)?

24 Shew (Show) me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath (has) it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.

25 And he (He) said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah the things which be Elohim’s / Aluahym’s.

26 And they could not take hold of his (His) words before the people: and they marvelled (were amazed) at his (His) answer, and held their peace.

Solomon Asks for Wisdom

3 And Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and took Pharaoh’s daughter, and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building his own house, and the house of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, and the wall of Jerusalem round about.

Only the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, until those days.

And Solomon loved 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.

In Gibeon 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah said, Ask what I shall give thee.

And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy (You have showed to your) servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee (you) in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee (you); and thou hast (you have) kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast (you have) given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

And now, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah my Elohim, thou hast (you have) made thy (your) servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

And thy (your) servant is in the midst of thy (your) people which thou hast (you have) chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude (crowd).

Give therefore thy (your) servant an understanding heart to judge thy (your) people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy (your) so great a people?

10 And the speech pleased 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, that Solomon had asked this thing.

11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast (you have) asked this thing, and hast (have) not asked for thyself (yourself) long life; neither hast (have) asked riches for thyself (yourself), nor hast (have) asked the life of thine (your) enemies; but hast (have) asked for thyself (yourself) understanding to discern judgment;

12 Behold, I have done according to thy (your) words: lo (look), I have given thee (you) a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee (you) before thee (you), neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee (you).

13 And I have also given thee (you) that which thou hast (you have) not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee (you) all thy (your) days.

14 And if thou wilt  (you will) walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy (your) father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy (your) days.

15 And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.

Solomon Judges Wisely

16 Then came there two women, that were harlots (prostitutes), unto the king, and stood before him.

17 And the one woman said, O my master, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house.

18 And it came to pass (And it indeed happened) the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we were together; there was no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.

19 And this woman’s child died in the night; because she overlaid it.

20 And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine (your) handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.

21 And when I rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when I had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did bear.

22 And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy (your) son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy (your) son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake (spoke) before the king.

23 Then said the king, The one saith (said), This is my son that liveth (lives), and thy (your) son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy (your) son is the dead, and my son is the living.

24 And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king.

25 And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.

26 Then spake (spoke) the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my master, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine (yours), but divide it.

27 Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.

28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah was in him, to do judgment.

Solomon’s Administration

4 So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king’s friend:

And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:

10 The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

11 The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

12 Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

13 The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore (60) great cities with walls and brasen bars:

14 Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

16 Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

18 Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

19 Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

Solomon’s Prosperity and Wisdom

20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

21 And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

22 And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

28 Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

29 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

30 And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

32 And he spake (spoke) three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

33 And he spake (spoke) of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth (springs) out of the wall: he spake (spoke) also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

34 And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

Preparations for Building the Temple

5 And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.

And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,

Thou knowest (You know) how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah his Elohim for the wars which were about him on every side, until 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah put them under the soles of his feet.

But now 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah my Elohim hath (has) given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah my Elohim, as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah spake unto (spoke to) David my father, saying, Thy (Your) son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy (your) room, he shall build an (a) house unto my name.

Now therefore command thou (you) that they hew (cut) me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy (your) servants: and unto thee (you) will I give hire for thy (your) servants according to all that thou shalt (you shall) appoint: for thou knowest (you know) that there is not among us any that can skill to hew (cut) timber like unto the Sidonians.

7 And it came to pass (And it indeed happened), when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Baruk be 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah this day, which hath (has) given unto David a wise son over this great people.

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest (you sent) to me for: and I will do all thy (your) desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt (you shall) appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt (you shall) receive them: and thou shalt (you shall) accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.

10 So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.

11 And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty (20) measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.

12 And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.

13 And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand (30,000) men.

14 And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy.

15 And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand (70,000) that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand (80,000) hewers (stonemasons) in the mountains;

16 Beside the chief of Solomon’s officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred (3,300), which ruled over the people that wrought (worked) in the work.

17 And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed (cut) stones, to lay the foundation of the house.

18 And Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders did hew (cut) them, and the stonesquarers (stonecutters): so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES FOR SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

Here are some important Scripture references for spiritual awakening. Please remember to read your Holy Bible and pray everyday because this is how our heavenly Father speaks to us. Make sure you read the entire Holy Bible. Write down each and every commandment, statute (written law) and instruction given by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah in His Word. Obey and practice ALL OF THEM.

Having difficulties to discipline yourself to read the Holy Bible daily? Then you are in trouble! Stop deceiving yourselves!

WARNING from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah Himself: The Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah warned that if we do not have His word abiding (remaining) in us, then we are NOT believers (NOT saved)! WAKE UP PEOPLE! Read John 5:38:-

John 5:38 King James Version (KJV)
And ye (you) have not his word (His Word) abiding (remaining) in you: for whom he hath (He / Yahuah has) sent, him ye believe not (Him you not believe).

Revelation 22:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Baruk are they that do his (His) commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

James 1:22 King James Version (KJV)
But be ye (you) doers of the word (Word), and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Galatians 6:7 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth (sows / puts in / plants / spreads), that shall he also reap (harvest / attain / get).

Galatians 6:3 King James Version (KJV)
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth (deceives / is deceiving) himself.

1 Corinthians 15:33 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Colossians 2:8 King James Version (KJV)
Beware lest any man (Beware, otherwise others may) spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit (deception), after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Mashiach (following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Mashiach).

1 Thessalonians 5:11 King James Version (KJV)
“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye (you) do.”

Hebrews 3:13 King James Version (KJV)
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

John 7:27 King James Version (KJV)
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Matthew 7:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
1 Judge not, that ye (you) be not judged.

(AMP BIBLE: 1 Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly].)

For with what judgment ye (you) judge, ye (you) shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete (you punish), it shall be measured to you again.

(AMP BIBLE: 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you.)

And why beholdest thou the mote (And why do you look at the tiny piece / speck) that is in thy (your) brother’s eye, but considerest (consider / notice) not the beam (long timber / log) that is in thine (your) own eye?

Or how wilt thou (will you) say to thy (your) brother, Let me pull out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thine (your) eye; and, behold (look), a beam (long timber / log) is in thine (your) own eye?

Thou (You) hypocrite, first cast (throw) out the beam out of thine (your) own eye; and then shalt thou see (shall you) clearly to cast (throw) out the mote (tiny piece / speck) out of thy (your) brother’s eye.

Matthew 6:14-15 King James Version (KJV)

14 For if ye (you) forgive men their trespasses (wrongdoings / sins), your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not (For if you do not forgive) men their trespasses (wrongdoings / sins), neither will your Father forgive your trespasses (wrongdoings / sins).

17 For 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH Yahuah sent not his (did not send His) Son into the world to condemn (disapprove) the world; but that the world through him (Him) might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him (believes [and] decided to trust Him [as personal Savior and Adon]) is not condemned: but he that believeth not believeth (but he that does not believe) is condemned already, because he hath (has) not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 / YHUH / Yahuah [which is Yahusha ha’Mashiach].
